Chapter 1387 Using Her as a Test Subject

Leon looked at his sly smirk at the corner of his lips and then at Kisa. With a curious expression, he asked, "Bro, are you trying to get this crazy woman to test those contraptions?"

"Hey, bro, I have to ask, aren't you curious about this place?" Isaac asked with a look on his face that showed he understood Leon very well.

Leon scratched his head. "I'm curious, after all, this place is so big, and the construction's so strange. Dad's been hiding this place for six years, so there must be some secret. It's just not good to let this crazy woman test the contraptions. What if something really happens? How will we explain it to Dad? And Mr. Kooper from Calthon is not someone to mess with."

"What are you afraid of? She's a nutcase We'll just say she broke free from her restraint and then ran around, triggering the contraptions. Besides, she's probably had sudden fits of madness like this before. Mr. Kooper must be aware of her condition. So, if she triggers the contraptions while in a fit of madness, we can still explain it away."

Leon was still hesitating. Isaac continued to egg him on. "Think about it; crazy people usually have a lot of strength. We just need to hold back a bit, and she will be able to break free. So, it won't be intentional, we just accidentally let this crazy woman break free. What do you say?" With that, he gave Leon a sinister and wicked smile.

Kisa shot Isaac a cold and disdainful glance, thinking, 'This guy's heart is even more venomous than Anthony.'

Leon was torn for a while but eventually gave in to his curiosity about the basement.

He nodded hesitantly. "Yeah, she suddenly became overwhelmingly powerful and escaped on her own.

We didn't intentionally let her go," he said, sharing a sinister smile with Isaac.

As they both chuckled, they let go of Kisa's arms. They expected her to frantically run around like a madwoman. But to their surprise, she simply stood there, staring at them with a creepy gaze.

This made Leon uneasy, and he barked, "What are you staring at? I'll gouge your eyes out if you don't stop!"

Kisa let out a sinister laugh. In a creepy voice, she replied, "No need for that. Her eyes are already gone. Look behind you... black holes with creepy crawlies inside."

Pointing at Leon's back, she continued. "She's right behind you. Can you feel it? Her dark lips are almost touching your ear now."

Kisa's description was so vivid, Leon could feel a cool breeze blowing by his ears, causing goosebumps to run up his spine. He quickly scooted over to Isaac's side.

"Let's not be curious anymore and get out of here. This place is seriously creepy," Isaac said, a bit frightened. Especially Kisa's eyes, which were so big they were almost unbearable to look at. They made one feel anxious and scared without reason.

But Isaac could not help but hesitate.

'We've come down here after so much effort, and if we don't look around, I'll feel disappointed. After this trip, who knows when we'll get the chance to come back?'

He gritted his teeth and shouted at Kisa, "Stop messing around here and go check out what's behind those rooms."

He pushed Kisa toward the haliway near the rooms.

The rooms were lined up in a row, with a pathway made of cobblestones on both sides. Kisa struggled to

keep her balance so as not to fall. Although she did not believe Mr. Mullen Sr. had set up any traps there, she still did not dare to check it out just like this. 'Thinking of using me as a test subject for the traps? No way!'
