But the thought of Julia living in such a fancy villa made her scratch her head. "You didn't really get in through connection "No. I got into the Cooper Group by myself," Julia sincerely replied. "Just because I live here doesn't mean I'm rich, and even if I was, it doesn't mean I'm incapable:"

Valerie eyed Julia suspiciously, causing Julia to chuckle. "Valerie, do you trust me? Do you trust that I got into the Cooper Group on my own?

Julia smiled and asked again, "Why do you trust me? Aren't you worried I might be lying to you?"

"Julia, it's really weird. You ask if I trust you. I say I do, and then you ask why, I mean li when I say I trust you. I won't question you. That's basic trust between friends, Valerie said. Seeing how serious Valerie was, Julia was amused. She didn't mean to tease Valerie; being trusted just made her happy. With Valerie around, she felt joy she'd not felt in ages.

To Julia. Valerie was like a clean slate, pure and simple. But Julia and Valerie were different; julia didn't trust people easily.

Every interaction had its attractions, Valerie thought Julia was beautiful, and Julia admired Valerie's purity. Julia felt it was quite rare to see such innocence in the adult world Julia had Valerie stay the night, and Harry didn't contact Julia at all.

Arya had never been neglected by Harry like this before. She knew Julia was causing all this. She hated Julia and wanted nothing more than Julia away from Harry as soon as possible. In her mind, Harry could only be hers.

Just then, Valerie and the maids heard the commotion and rushed over, horrified at the scene. The maids tried to separate them and make a call to Harry, and Valerie ran in to help, taking sides with Julia to beat up Arya: She didn't know who Arya was bul I just protected her friend.

Right then, Harry was in a meeting and couldn't pick up the phone.

The maids, watching the chaos at the door, didn't know whom to calm down first and exchanged confused looks with each other.

Suddenly, Julia noticed something was off with Arya and immediately let go of her. "Valerie, let her go," Julia said sharply.

Startled, Valerie instantly released Arya, who turned pale, clutched her chest with one hand, and glared at Julia with rage still in her eyes. Barely managing to move her lips without saying a word, her eyes suddenly shut, and she collapsed backward onto the ground. Julia then remembered Arya had a congenital heart condition. She quickly had someone call for an ambulance while trying to reach Harry.

Unfortunately, Harry's phone was on silent due to the meeting, making it impossible to get through.

Unable to contact Harry and unwilling to leave Arya on the ground, lest she became a murderer if Arya died there, julia realized that waitin ambulance, which could take over forty minutes, was not an option. Without hesitation, she and a maid loaded Arya into her car and d fast as possible. Despite not liking Arya, Julia couldn't bear the thought of her dying right there.

Sitting in the passenger seat, Valerie went pale from Julia's driving speed. Upon reaching the hospital, she quickly stepped out of the car and rushed to a lawn to throw up.

Chapter 43

Julia had called the hospital in advance, so doctors and nurses were already waiting at the entrance. It wasn't until Arya was taken into the emergency room that Julia's tense nerves slowly began to relax. Meanwhile, Harry, just stepping out of the meeting room, noticed over twenty missed calls from Julia. Thinking something had happened to her. he immediately called back. "What happened to you?" "It's not me, it's Arya. She had a heart attack, and she's at the hospital right now, Julia explained.

"How come you're with Arya?" Harry asked, relieved it wasn't julia who was in trouble. "How did she have a heart attack!"

"It's a long story. Better come to the hospital," Julia suggested.

Julia waited outside the operating room for a long time, unsure of Arya's conditions or hour to explain everything to Harry After all, she couldn't mention that they had been fighting, which triggered Arya's condition

Valerie paced nervously beside her, sitting down and standing up, mumbling, Julia, she's not dead, right? I didn't even hit her that hard. If she's dead, doesn't that make us murderers? She was almost crying from worry. "She can't die; I'm so young. I don't want to be a mur end over this."
