"Where are you right now? Can you come back immediately? I've got something really important to tell you," Julia said, her face ashen as she stared at the man trembling on the sofa. This man had haunted her nightmares and was now right in front of her. Even though h Valerie was clueless about what this man had done to Julia; she just bravely helped subdue him when Julia caught him, and they brought him back to Julia's villa together.
Confusion was written all over Valerie's face as she watched Julia pace the living room, her face stormy with barely contained rage. She heard Julia on the phone asking Harry to come back home. As an outsider, Valerie felt the urge to leave; she knew when it came to ma Time passed, and just when Valerie was about to tell Julia she was leaving, Harry arrived.
Harry rushed in, anxiety clear on his face. He had driven home in a panic after hearing Julia's urgent voice on the phone, fearing she was in danger. He didn't even have time to care about Arya.
Upon entering, Harry saw Hadley on the sofa, momentarily confused until he quickly pieced things together. Hadley immediately buried his head, not daring to meet Harry's eyes; the deep-rooted fear was unmistakable on his face.
Julia, with her back to Harry, was aware of his return. She was trying hard to calm the fury within her. When Harry gently touched her shoulder,
she spun around and fiercely pushed his hand away, her face pale with anger. "Seeing him here, do you have anything you want to explain to me?"
"What would you like me to say?" Harry asked evenly, eyeing Hadley.
Hadley, sitting obediently to the side, was deeply afraid of Harry. Harry didn't need to say a word; a single look was enough to send Hadley into
terror.
Before Julia and Harry could utter a word, Hadley panicked, collapsing to the floor, pleading, "Mr. Wright, I swear I didn't say anything. I didn't mean to cross paths with Mrs. Wright... Please don't kill me."
Hadley crawled to Harry's feet and held onto his pants, his mind racing with visions of being tortured by Harry again.
Julia stared at Harry. "I've seen just how cruel you could be. To keep his mouth shut, you'd go this far. Who are you really trying to protect-me or someone else?"
Harry kicked Hadley away and reached for Julia's hand, only for her to shake it off indifferently. Without showing anger, Harry tried to speak to Julia calmly. "It was all for you, of course."
Julia sneered and asked, "Then do you know why Hadley drugged me and why he did those things to me?" She paused and took a deep breath, trying to steady her emotions. "Harry, don't tell me you know nothing about it." Harry was silent for a few seconds, his gaze fixed on Julia as if he were trying to explain something.
Seeing his expression, Julia knew he had been aware of everything all along yet kept it from her. Unable to bear the injustice she had suffered and the anger that built up over time, she shoved against Harry's chest forcefully. "You knew every detail. You knew Arya was the Hadley to drug me, but you kept quiet. Just ask yourself, is it me you want to protect, or is it Arya?"
Valerie was totally lost, confused by their conversation until she heard Julia say this ugly guy drugged her on Arya's orders. Valerie thought Arya was really low, using such dirty tricks against Julia.
"I already taught him a lesson for you." Harry stepped back slowly until Julia cornered him with no way out. He looked straight at Julia and said slowly, "I've made Hadley pay for what he did to you. Arya..."
"Harry, you better not mention Arya's name in front of me right now. You know, if you push me too far, I'm capable of anything," Julia said coldly. "So what if Arya is the one you care about? I can take her down with me if I have to."
"Julia!" Harry suddenly raised his voice. "Do you even know what you're saying? Do you have any proof it was Arya behind this?
Suddenly, Julia felt like the Harry in front of her was a complete stranger. She always knew Harry was protective of Arya, but she ne still take Arya's side after she had done something so vile.
Harry's words pierced Julia's heart like a knife. Holding back her sadness and the injustice she felt, she looked away.
She turned around and wiped the tears from her face, thinking crying over this was just not worth it.
Lought he'd
'I knew Harry would speak up for Arya. I knew it! Why did
I call him back to confront Hadley? Was it so Harry could question Arya for me or to show him Arya's true colors? Whatever the outcome, it doesn't make a difference to Harry. He's known what's been going on from the get-go, she thought. "I wouldn't drag Hadley before you if I didn't have any proof," Julia said coldly. She composed herself and glanced at the trembling Hadley. "I don't

have any sympathy for those who've harmed me."
"What are you trying to do?" Harry gripped Julia's arm.
Julia jerked her arm free from Harry's grasp. "You don't get to question my actions. We all do things our own way. Since you are of no use, naturally call the cops when faced with danger or difficulties."

Ignoring Julia's struggle, Harry grabbed her. "What the heck are you trying to do? If you really had evidence, you wouldn't have called me back. Julia, don't do something that's going to backfire. The cops work with evidence. At most, you've just caught the person who hurt you..."
"Get lost!" Julia roared.
"Even if you call the cops and hand Hadley over, he would only be charged with assault and attempted rape. Thinking you can use him against Arya is utterly impossible." Harry's words hit Julia hard.
Harry saw right through her. With a cold smirk, Julia said, "What I do and how I do it is none of your business. Just make sure to keep Arya safe, and don't let her fall into my hands."
