Refusing To Divorce (Julia and Harry) -
Refusing 68
Chapter 68
"Mrs. Wright." A familiar voice interrupted the tense atmosphere. The word "Mrs. Wright" made everyone at a loss. They all turned around to look at the person who suddenly appeared.
"Mr. Porter." Julia walked over and saw that he was carrying something in his hand. She asked casually, "What is it?"
Alden respectfully handed the food to Julia. "Mrs. Wright, this is the breakfast that Mr. Wright asked me to bring over. He knows you left in a hurry this morning."
Julia was surprised. Fortunately, she faced the people with her back. At this moment, only Alden could see her expression. The meaningful smile on Alden's face made Julia unable to understand Harry's mind. Did he let his assistant deliver breakfast just to help her? She was puzzled.
Julia denied this thought in her heart. Harry was not so kind, but what was Harry's motive for doing this? She had no idea for the time being.
The colleagues all looked at the breakfast that Harry's secretary had taken. The logo on the packaging made them all envious. This restaurant was not something ordinary people could afford.
There was no takeout service. It only received six orders every day. Even if one made a reservation a week in advance, he still had to wait for a one month due to the great demand.
However, Harry could easily buy this restaurant's food for Julia. Others might not know much about how unbelievable it was, but Jessica was clear She had been eager to eat at this restaurant for a long time, so she had made a reservation half a month ago. Until now, it had not been her turn.
Jessica's eyes were filled with hatred and jealousy. She simply wanted to cut Julia into pieces.
Julia placed the breakfast on the table and pulled Alden to the balcony outside.
"There are only the two of us here. Tell me the truth. Did Harry let you come here?" Julia did not believe that he was so nice. Last night, Harry had been taking care of Arya in the hospital. Her face was also exposed online, but Harry did not even give her a call. Therefore, it was impossible for Harry to ask Alden to deliver breakfast to her office.
"Mrs. Wright, it was really Mr. Wright's instructions. How could I dare to make a decision on my own?" Alden replied seriously. "Mrs. Wright, if you don't believe me, why don't you directly verify it with Mr. Wright?"
Now that Harry and Arya were staying together, Julia was especially resistant to calling Harry. She was able to handle her own matters and did not need Harry at all.
"Forget it, I'll just take it that he's killing time." Anyway, Julia could not guess what Harry was thinking. "Go back and tell him not to bring me breakfast to the company anymore. I don't want to cause a sensation."
"What? Mrs. Wright, you might have to tell Mr. Wright yourself." Alden was in a difficult position. After a while, he said kindly, "Mrs. Wright, actually, Mr. Wright has always been very concerned about you. But he is not good at expressing himself."
Julia raised her hand to interrupt. Harry cared about her?
"You said that Harry cares about me. That's ridiculous. I'd rather believe that pigs can fly." Julia smiled. She did not deliberately make things difficult for Alden and said calmly, "Alright, I'll talk to him myself."
Alden heaved a sigh of relief.
Harry had been accompanying Arya in the hospital last night. In the morning, he immediately drove to the company to change and rest in the lounge.
Alden came in to make a report. Harry sat on the chair expressionlessly and listened calmly. When he heard that Julia was very happy, the corners of his mouth could not help but curl up. But when he spoke, his voice was a little cold. "Was she happy? Didn't she ask you t Alden was under enormous pressure from Harry's gaze. He hesitated for a long time, but he did not dare to lie to Harry. Just as he was wondering if he should tell the truth, Harry's phone suddenly rang. He immediately heaved a sigh of relief. Harry waved his hand and Alden sensibly left the office.
Julia liked to be frank with Harry instead of beating around the bush. As soon as Harry picked up the phone, she asked directly, "What did you mean? Send breakfast to my company? What tricks are you playing?"
"You can take it that I cared about you."
"Your caring for me is tantamount to taking my life." Julia smiled. "But if you feel that you owe me and want to compensate me in this way, I can accept it."

Chapter 68
"Why would I owe you anything?" Harry asked in confusion.
"Tell me, which one of the things that happened to me has nothing to do with Arya? Harry, I know you want to protect her. I'm not against you, but you can't order me or control me, right?" "Have you had breakfast?" Harry changed the topic. He could not bear to hurt her when he heard Julia's smug tone,
Although Julia despised Harry's food, she could not go against her own body. The truth was that she quite enjoyed the food. She had to admit that it was completely to her taste.
"No," Julia said coldly. "I dumped it."
Harry did not expose her lie. Julia seemed to have sensed something. "What are you laughing at? Harry, you'd better not play any tricks with me. You know I'm not a fool." "Yes, I know."
"Harry, I have nothing to say to you. So many things have happened recently. You'd better control yourself." It was rare for Julia to speak to Harry in a commanding tone. "By the way, Donald wants us to go back for dinner tonight." Julia also wanted to see what Donald wanted to do, so she agreed.
If Donald hadn't insisted on Harry coming along, she definitely wouldn't have informed him.
Harry was not surprised. Julia could not help but sneer. "I knew Donald told you long ago."
Harry remained silent. Julia did not want him to get too
involved in the Jackson family's matters. If Donald hadn't said that Julia would be there, Harry would not have bothered to take part in this mess. He had recently received news that Donald's investments failed again. "See you after work."
Harry sat in a daze. The images of Julia's verbal battle in the company this morning appeared in his mind. He could not help but sigh.
When Alden came in, he saw the melancholic look on Harry's face. He said carefully, "Mr. Wright, you're very concerned about Mrs. Wright. Why don't you show it? Mrs. Wright always misunderstands you.
"If you didn't give her the video of Arya and Hadley, she wouldn't have been able to punish him. Also, you secretly sponsored Donald so many times because you didn't want him to pester Mrs. Wright." Harry looked up. His tone was cold and emotionless. "You're talkative today."
Alden immediately shut up. He placed the documents on the table and rushed to the door. Then, he said, "Mr. Wright, I can tell that you like Mrs. Wright."
