Rejected, Broken And Forgotten -
Chapter 93
Third Person’s POV
Mikhail sits in his chair. He knows his only hope is to get either the Queen or the King of werewolves as his hostage. He gets up fast, using his vampire speed, but Dennis stops before him before he can even reach one of them. The rest surround him. He looks around and sees that Dennis has a sword, but the rest have wooden stakes. He laughs.
“You think you can hurt me with a wooden stake? I am not afraid of any wooden stakes. Come on, Queen of werewolves, try to stake me so we can see what will happen to you,” Mikhail tries to get Paris to attack him alone. He thinks he will be fast enough to grab her and hold her hostage. Paris smiles as she knows he is trying to get her hostage. She does not take her eyes off Mikhail as she does not trust him.
“Why don’t you attack first?” Paris mocks him. She knows he is a coward, and if he steps closer to her, he will be closer to the others that can help her attack him.
“Coward!” Michail shouts.
“Who is the coward? You or me?” Paris mocks him again. Mikhail is still looking around for any way he can escape.
“So you all betrayed me? My brother and my children! You know you will all die if I die!” He shouts in the hope that they will help him.
“No, we will not. Our bond with you is broken,” Kristina says, showing him her tattoo. Roman laughs as he knows his father is desperate.
“We do not need you anymore! You are nothing to us,” Roman says. Mikhail is getting more desperate, and he needs an escape. He looks around for anything to escape the wolves and the vampires, and nothing can help him.
“Let me live, and I will give you everything I have,” He says.
“We are going to take everything you have anyway and give it to the vampires,” Walker says.
“You can not touch my property. It does not belong to you!” Mikhail screams. He is trying to get the attention away from him, but the wolves and vampires watch him like a hawk. Mikhail knows he must make a move before it is too late. He launches at Paris, but she jumps out of his way to the left, and as she jumps, she stabs at him with the white oak stake, but Mikhail is too fast and avoids being stabbed by the stake. Walker jumps in front of Paris to protect her from Mikhail, who tries to launch at her again. Mikhail avoids the stake in Walker’s hand but is caught out of balance. Luca moves in fast and tries to put the stake in his father’s heart, but again Mikhail moves too fast and runs out of the circle. He tries to run to the open window, but Kristina and Roman guard the window while Paris and Walker quickly move to the door.
“Damn all of you! You will not catch me,” Mikhail shouts.
“Hahaha, getting desperate?” Walker mocks him.
“No, I will kill all of you!” Mikhail says, and he is getting angry.
He knows he will not get the King or Queen, so he must fight out of this. He starts trying to take on Roman and Kristina as he sees them as weak links. They hold him off and try to stab him with their white oak stakes. Mikhail is too fast, so he goes for Dennis, but Dennis dodges him and runs to his niece and nephew.
“You all think you are so clever!” Mikhail says.
“Come on, Mikhail! We all know you can do better than that,” Dennis teases his brother. Mikhail is getting angry. He knows he must escape, but he has nowhere to go and must fight out! He forgets about the wolves outside if he can only get away.
“f**k off! I am going to kill all of you,” He screams again, trying to attack Luca this time, but Luca is as fast as his father, and this time, Luca gets the white oak stake into Mikhail’s arm. It slows Mikhail down as the poison of the white oak enters his body.
“Hahaha, not so fast anymore, father?” Luca asks. He does not take the stake out of Mikhail’s arm. Mikhail tries to take the stake out of his arm, but he has to fight off Kristina, who attacks him and sticks her white oak stake in his other arm. Mikhail feels weak as he tries to pick up his arms and feels the poison spreading through his body.
“White oak stakes? Where did you get them?” Mikhail asks as he goes to the chair and sits down. He looks at his children and his brother and feels defeated.
“My life was not easy. Do you know why I became so ruthless? My mother and father did not love me. They never wanted me. Dennis was their favorite, and I was always the one they blamed for everything. My grandparents hated me, and all the love I wanted from my parents and grandparents was showered on Dennis. They gave me a puppy, and I killed it. I loved the feeling of being in control and killing it. I knew something was wrong with me when I loved killing it. I was afraid of myself. I hated myself at first, but then I embraced who I was. So, when I grew up and started killing humans, I loved the rush when I killed them. It turned me on, and I had the best s*x of my life after killing someone. I met the duchess when I was young, and she was a lot like me. She loved the killings and gave me three children, but we still had lovers as we were not jealous and wanted to be free, although we were married. My father disapproved of me again, and I locked him and my mother in the vault. I told them they could die there for all I cared, as they were nothing to me. My father laughed and told me I would get what was coming to me as I was the evilest human he had ever seen. I thought he cursed me and left the vault closed for years,” Michail says.
“Well, he did curse you and asked the help of the Son of God,” Luca says.
“I knew it! What father curses his own son? He never loved me! The old bastard! I hated him!” Michail shouts.
“You were no son to him! He was a good man with a good heart, and you murdered him! You deserve what is coming to you. We do not fall for sorry stories. No one cares how you felt when you were young. You were born evil and you will die evil,” Dennis says.
“You were never a father to us. You treated us so badly that we were too scared to even stay around you while you were killing. You were an evil bastard to your own children. You know we hate you more than anything in this world,” Luca says.
“Shall we finish him and put him out of his misery?” Paris asks. Michail is bleeding from both his arms and he looks terrible. He is trembling and Paris, being the good creature she is, wants to put him out of his misery.
“Not yet, let him suffer a little more,” Kristina says. She takes her stake and pushes it into his leg. Walker throws his white oak stake to Dennis, who pushes it into Michail’s other leg. Michail cries out in pain as the poison of the white oak enters his b***d. He knows he will die today, but he is still hoping for a miracle. He hopes there are still some of his men left that will come and save him. No one came though and he could feel the poison flowing into his veins.
“I will die today, but I will haunt you for the rest of your lives!” Michail screams as he uses his last power and launches himself with the silver sword that he is still holding at Paris. She sees him coming and he is much slower now from the white oak stakes. She steps out of his way and pushes the last white oak stake into Michail’s heart. He does not turn to dust like other vampires do when you stake them in the heart with a wooden stake. He falls over at her feet. He is still alive and he is suffering.
“Why is he not dust?” Paris asks.
“He is an original. The white oak is poisoning him. He will die from the poison,” Jeffrey says from the door. He knows everything there is to know about the originals. He knows why the Moon Goddess did not want him to die quickly.
“But his wife died from the tattoo,” Paris says.
“Yes, she did, but it took a while before she died. So no matter how you kill an original, they will die slowly and painfully,” Jeffrey says.
“She was happy dancing in the sun,” Mikhail says, b***d running from his mouth now.
“She was feeling the pain but embraced it, as she longed for the sun to feel it on her skin. She was boiling from the inside but refused to show it to you as she wanted you to die with her. I have read all about the originals and the only way for you to die quickly was to walk into the sun directly without a daylight ring or a tattoo. If you become pure of heart you will be spared, but you are not pure of heart and still evil like your wife was, so you will die, but when you have suffered enough,” Jeffrey says. He has learned everything about the curse of the Sun God and how the Moon Goddess manipulates how the original bad vampires die. She also chooses to save the ones with good hearts and souls.
Mikhail comes up on his knees and he stands in front of the four vampires he hurt the most. His eyes are looking at them with hate. He has no remorse. Luca looks at his father and he bends over and punches the stake in his heart even deeper into Mikhail’s heart. Mikhail m***s in pain. He knows he is dying and he can only see hate around him. There is no one that will stand up for him or even care if he dies. For the first time in his long life Mikhail knows how his victims used to feel. He does not like this feeling of helplessness and fear of dying.
“I hope you feel what your victims’ last moments felt like for them,” Lucas says to his father. Kristina walks forward and pushes one of the other white oak stakes deeper into him and Mikhail screams out in pain.
“Do you remember the screams of your victims? We had to listen to it every night and when we were human, even in the daytime. I hope you remember everyone of those screams as you are dying,” Kristina says. Screams seem to surround Mikhail as he tries to close his ears, but it is like the ghosts of the past are surrounding him, screaming at him, making his ears bleed. Roman walks forward and pushes the stake in his other arm deeper into him.
“Remember when you made us do what you were doing? Make us kill when we do not want to? You are so evil. I do not think Hades wants you,” Roman says as he steps back. Lastly, Dennis walks forward, pushing the stakes in his legs, heart and arms deeper into him.
“Remember when you poisoned my wife? Do you remember when you put mother and father in that vault? Do you remember when you killed that puppy? I hope you feel all their pain,” Dennis says. Dennis steps back as Michail screams in pain, remembering the little puppy he killed that only loved him. Then he remembers Amelia’s pain in her eyes when she was dying from the poison, and lastly, he remembers his father’s last words to him. He remembers his mother’s eyes still full of love and forgiveness for him. As he has his last painful memories, he turns into dust. The world is rid of the biggest evil that ever walked the earth and it is like everyone, even nature is sighing in relief. The crickets start chirping and nature comes to live again as if it knows that the one thing that is so evil in this world that could kill them all is dead. Mikhail, the evil, is dust and will never return to earth again.
