I stare at my desk, trying not to cry, don't ask me why I want to cry. Ijust do. My office door flies open to reveal ben.

"I don't want Erika to leave” he cries sitting on one of my desk chairsmaking me nod.

"Neither do I but we have no choice, her wolf is back, and I was onlyable to keep her until now" I wipe my eyes feeling tears starting toform.

"you like her, don't you?" Ben questions making me look at him inshock, why would he think such a thing?

"she is my roommate, nothing more" I state making him laugh.

"dude, you moved your whole bedroom around to move her in, youhave half of your room pink, your wolf took control and kissed her, andif you upset her you freak out and try and fix the problem straightaway" he states as if it is the most obvious thing in the world.

"dude 1 don't like her, never have never will. I just put up with her, that'sit. She has had a rough life, and I feel sorry for her" I reply, making Bennod his head.

"Okay, well I better go say goodbye because she wants to leave in halfan hour" Ben states making me nod my head in understanding.

The minute he leaves my office I start to think over everything he justsaid before sighing out in frustration, I guess I do like her, but we wouldnever work out, and that's the sad truth of the situation, so I have nochoice but to let her go.

“human, don't allow her to go please, you know how her wolf cameback? its because I found her and coaxed her out so I could have amate, I want us to request the moon goddesses permission to matewith her, please” my wolf whines in my head making me confused“you can do that?" i question, I watch as his wolf head nods making meroll my eyes with a sigh.

I jump out of my desk chair and rush to the front door where she issitting, saying goodbye to everyone.

"everyone out" I hisses making everyone rush out of the room.

"finally come to say goodbye, alpha?” she teases, making me roll myeyes to try and distract myself from wanting to smile she is so cutewhen she teases me even if she does get on my nerves.

"Actually no, I came to tell you that you are not allowed to leave" Ispeak confidently, which only makes her jump up and start screaming."you can't tell me I can't leave; we had a deal. my wolf came back, so Iam allowed to leave" she cries out in anger

"What is your wolf saying right now?" I question making her stop andretreat in her mind. The minute she comes back, I already know whatshe is going to say.

"that she is in love, won't tell me who but apparently he pulled herforwards and she fell in love,” she states confused by her wolfs words."you leaving would hurt your wolf," I state

"How did you know though” she questions, I can't tell her the truththat's for sure.

"I am an alpha, you have been here long enough that our wolves canconnect and she can tell my wolf things, especially if her human isn'tlistening" I state making her nod.

"oh, I didn't know that" she replies before blushing in embarrassment."Most people don't, while mind link doesn't work after a while of beingnear an alpha a wolf grows a link to the alpha wolf for dire situations” Istate making her nod in understanding, what I am saying is sort of true,but a white lie never hurt anybody.

"so please don't go, think of your wolf, not yourself" I add, making hernod in understanding.

"Okay, I will stay" she smiles before lazily walking up to our room.“thank you human, I know you don't want this, but we wouldn't be ableto function without her’ my wolf speaks, making me nod my head inunderstanding, I guess this is how it is now.
