“Miss Hall, may I ask why you chose the Puth Corporation? After all, we are not yet as qualified andrecognized as the Borka Group in real estate industry.” said Brian Larson, CEO of the PuthCorporation. He felt quite flattered,

When Brian knew that the Hall Group intended to work with the Puth Corporation, he even rushedback to LOS Angeles from California to meet with Jessica.

“Mr. Larson, are you saying that you don't have faith in your own company?” Jessica raised hereyebrows and asked.

Brian froze for a few seconds before he burst out laughing. He then said, “I believe we'll have apleasant cooperation, Miss Hall.”

After Brian left, Jessica was in a very good mood. Megan and Watson tried to make things difficultfor Jessica, yet they forgot that Jessica was no pushover.

When Jessica finished, the door of the loge was kicked open. It was Lucas and Hari.

Olivia threw herself into Lucas’ arms and cried. “Lucas, Jessica drugged me. She's about to have meraped!”

Lucas’ face was stern. He glared at Jessica as if he was going to tear her apart.

Hari seemed to be startled as well. He said, “Jessica, don't you think you've gone too far?”

"Since the Thomas family doesn't know how to teach Olivia well, I took the liberty to do the job.”Jessica wiped her slender fingers with a tissue before she threw it away. She then headed to thedoor.

When Jessica reached the door, Lucas, with a sullen face, suddenly grabbed Jessica. “Apologize toOlivia!"

“Sure. I'll call the police for Miss Thomas.” Jessica took out her phone and dialed 911. However,before she pressed the Dial button, she glanced at Olivia and added, “By the way, I'll ask them tolook into what happened to me last night. Someone kidnapped me on my way home.
