The visitors were Sebastian and Esme. After Gina and Sebastian had arrived at Divinopolis, Sebastian immediately contacted Esme.

When Sebastian learned that Charles intended to invite Esme over and propose to her publicly, he decided to keep her company. Although he and Esme hadn't spent much time together, they had once publicly declared their relationship status. Despite the fact that his actions at the time were partly driven by anger towards Lillian, he was a man of his word. They seem to be very close too. This is a slap in the face to Prince Charles."

"Ms. Bailey must be quite bold. This will surely anger Prince Charles. Hasn't she thought about the consequences?"

This statement caused an uproar among the crowd.

"This man is actually Ms. Bailey's fiancé. This is clearly a rejection of Prince Charles, and there's no way he'll take this lightly."

Kenny hurried forward to persuade Esme. "Ms. Bailey, Prince Charles is of noble status. I really can't understand why you have to reject him."

"This has nothing to do with you," Esme said coldly.

Initially, she had planned to sacrifice herself and accept Charles' proposal because she had thought that Sebastian was dead. There wasn't another man that she loved. So, she was ready to sacrifice herself for the family.

Of course, Esme was hoping for Gina to return to help her.

Gina was Lord Hydra. She was fully capable of dealing with Charles. However, she didn't know if she could wait for Gina's return.

To her surprise, not only did Gina

return, but Sebastian also came. Her excitement was indescribable. With Sebastian by her side, she felt an unprecedented sense of security and wasn't afraid even if the sky were to fall.

"Ms. Bailey, I'm saying this for your own good. The Baileys are on the verge of bankruptcy and only Prince Charles can help you," Kenny said persistently.

Lyra also chimed in, "Ms. Bailey, Mr. Strauss is right. Prince Charles is of noble status. Becoming his princess would be an honor for you."

"I'm not interested. If you are, you could marry him instead," Esme retorted coldly.

Lyra replied, "I'd love to. But Prince Charles is interested in you, not me."

Charles looked at Esme and said, "Ms. Bailey, I will now formally propose to you."

As he spoke, Charles clapped his hands and a group of maids entered immediately. Each of them was carrying a tray with gold bars, jewelry, a luxury car key, and other expensive items.

"Prince Charles offers Ms. Bailey ten thousand taels of gold, a box of jewels, a limited edition Lamborghini, a luxury mansion, 66666666 dollars in cash, and a contract worth a billion dollars in profits." Everyone present was instantly wide-eyed. Their eyes were filled with greed.
