Chapter 553

Marie looked at Sebastian with disdain. "You're the one who saved my husband before, aren't you? I admit that your medical skills are impressive, and I'm grateful. But that's no reason to harass my daughter. From now on, you should stay away from her. Otherwise, I won't let you off!"

"Mom, don't be like this. He's not harassing me. I'm with him on my own will," Esme said.

"Shut up! There's no room for discussion. You must marry Prince Charles!" Marie snapped.

Sebastian chuckled softly. "Mrs. Bailey, Esme is your daughter, not a commodity. I hope you'll respect her decision.

"You shut up! You have no say here," Marie rebuked harshly.

Then, she said while looking at Charles with a fawning expression, "Don't worry, Prince Charles. Esme will definitely be yours. No one can take her away. You can marry her whenever you want."

Charles' expression softened. "At least you know your place. There's no rush for the wedding. As the crown prince of Cereria, marriage is a matter of national importance and needs proper preparation. But..."

He paused, looking at Esme with burning eyes. "Tonight, I want to have you. I'll have you over and over, at least a hundred times."

"You're so shameless!"

Esme trembled with anger. She had never met someone so brazenly shameless.

Sebastian was also furious, and his eyes were sharp as he said, "You Western Region mongrel, if you dare to spew such filth again, I'll make sure that you'll die without a burial place!"

"Hah!" Charles sneered. "You're just a lowly Dragothian. How dare you threaten a noble prince? You don't know your place."

"I hereby declare that this day next year will be your death anniversary," Sebastian said calmly.

Considering the other's status as a crown prince, he originally didn't want to escalate the situation. But with the constant "lowly Dragothian" remarks and how Charles kept forcing himself on his woman, along with the vulgar language, the prince had crossed Sebastian's bottom line.

Those who crossed his bottom line, even if they were gods, had only one fate awaiting them-death.

"A mere clown like you thinks you can kill the noble Prince Charles? How utterly ridiculous!"

The entire room erupted in laughter, looking at Sebastian as if he were a fool.

Marie also looked at him with contempt, saying, "I'm warning you one last time. My daughter is not for a bumpkin like you to covet."

Sebastian smiled coldly. "What makes you think I'm a bumpkin?"

"Are you not?" Marie mocked, "On my way here, I heard that Prince Charles has prepared billions of dollars worth of betrothal gifts for my daughter. That's billions! A bumpkin like you couldn't earn that much even if you started screwing bolts from the prehistoric era."

"That's right. How dare a low-class bumpkin like you compete with Prince Charles for a woman? You're truly overestimating yourself." Lyra sneered, though this time she wisely hid behind Prince Charles.

Sebastian ignored her and looked at Marie. "That's just mere billions worth of betrothal gifts. That's nothing."

Hearing this, Marie immediately scoffed. "How shameless! 'Mere billions,' you say? Don't tell me that you can offer more than Prince Charles."

Lyra chimed in, "That's billions of dollars we're talking about. Even if this bumpkin were sold in pieces, he wouldn't be worth a fraction of Prince Charles' betrothal gifts."

"That's right. This guy must be some clown sent to amuse us."

Everyone burst into laughter again.

Sebastian remained calm, smiling slightly. "Mere billions really isn't much. I'll offer 10 billion dollars worth of betrothal gifts!"
