Late at night, on the rooftop of a skyscraper in downtown Devonport.

A man in a black tactical jacket aimed a sniper rifle at a window across the street, where Lennon sat at the head of a conference table. His face hidden behind a white mask, he took aim once more. A single gunshot echoed through the night, and the figure inside the window collapsed instantly. Chaos erupted in the business building across the street.

"Nice work," came a deep voice from behind him.

"You've got more potential than Timothy ever did," the voice continued.

The sniper turned around slowly, his voice icy and steady. "I told you, Odie had to die."

"Timothy missed his shot. You didn't. Thanks to you," the man said, stepping forward to pat the sniper's shoulder. "It's your time to shine."

"I'm handing you all the assets under the Mintons," the man's low voice carried a hint of a smile. "What's more painful than being betrayed by your own? Right, Harold?"

The sniper removed his mask, revealing a face both cold and intense, filled with defiance and dark intentions. It was Harold.

The night deepened.

Sophie woke up with a start from a nightmare, only to replace Colby wasn't beside her.

"Colby?"

Panic set in. She could hear faint noises from downstairs and hurried down to investigate.

She found Jenna and Adler, both in their pajamas, already awake.

"Where's Colby? What's going on?" Sophie asked, her voice tinged with worry.

"Sophie, something's happened to the Costello family," Jenna said, her face pale.

Adler stood silently, his head bowed.

Sophie's heart pounded, a sense of dread washing over her. "What happened to Colby?"

"It's not Colby... it's the old man," Jenna's face turned even paler. "There was a shooting at the business building. The old man... he didn't make it."

"Colby's gone to handle it. He asked us to stay here with you," Jenna added.

Sophie stood there, silent, her face drained of color. Adler tried to

comfort her. "Sophie, don't worry.

Colby's been through worse. He's et

not one to crumble. He's out there with his men, looking for the shooter. Maybe he's already found

them, maybe he's even taken care of it by now!"

But Sophie remained silent, and Jenna grew more anxious, never having seen Sophie like this before.

After a long pause, Sophie finally spoke. "It's my fault."

"No, it's not your fault! How could it be your fault? It's the person behind this, they're too cunning!" Jenna exclaimed.

"No, it is my fault," Sophie's voice grew colder, though her eyes were red. "I wanted a peaceful life. I didn't want Colby involved in any more killings. But if we don't kill them, they'll kill us."

Jenna and Adler fell silent at her words.

Sophie still remembered how, in her previous life, Colby had stirred up chaos in Devonport, turning it into a blood-soaked battleground,

eventually clashing with James for control. But in this life, her rebirth

had altered the course of events, steering everything into uncharted waters.
