Revenge On Her Ex After Rebirth -
Chapter 1147 Little Bunny Rejects Addison
Chapter 1147 Little Bunny Rejects Addison
Halfway through the party, Little Bunny went to the restroom to relieve the discomfort in her stomach. To show that she had no relationship with Addison, she took the initiative to drink a lot and appeared very enthusiastic about socializing. She appeared not to put any thought on Addison and pretended that there were no special feelings for him.
However, she drank too much and got a little tipsy. Little Bunny vomited once and rinsed her mouth before touching up her makeup. As soon as she walked out of the restroom, she saw Addison waiting for her at the door.
She wanted to ignore him but was grabbed by him before she could react. He pulled her directly into an empty stairwell.
"What happened that made you suddenly distant from me?" Addison couldn't understand.
"Nothing, our relationship is just like this." She replied coldly.
"Little Bunny, you know my feelings for you and I know yours too. Why are you saying our relationship should be like this? What happened? Did you get angry because I kissed you last night without your permission? If so, I apologize. I won't do anything that makes you uncomfortable without your consent anymore." Addison looked at her affectionately with a hint of indulgence in his voice. "Don't be mad at me okay? It scares me when you act like this."
"It's not about that," Little Bunny seemed indifferent. "We just don't have any special relationship between us, I should show you respect and be polite towards you."
"Little Bunny, what's wrong with you? You weren't like this before. Did something happen between you and Theodore yesterday?" Addison became agitated.
He couldn't accept such a sudden change from her after their sweet kiss yesterday. He even hoped they would have another sweet moment today during the party together but instead, he received coldness from her.
"No, I just really don't have any feelings for you."
"Is everything you said to me before a lie? I don't believe it, Little Bunny, I don't!" Addison couldn't believe how much Little Bunny had changed overnight. "Did Theodore threaten you? I've had enough. What gives him the right to force you like this? He can't just do whatever he wants because of his position and power. I don't believe he can get away with anything."
"Enough. I told you, I can't accept going back to the days when I had nothing and was at the mercy of others in the entertainment industry.
She didn't want to drag Addison into her mess. She knew that things between her and Theodore might explode soon. Theodore's patience with her was running thin. She could handle all the consequences herself but didn't want Addison paying for them too. That was between her and Theodore. So she needed to cut ties with Addison completely now.
If she left Theodore later on, if she still had her reputation intact, then maybe she could start over again with Addison. But if Theodore destroyed everything for good, then she would leave Addison forever too. "Is your career all that matters?" asked Addison, unbelieving.
"Yes. I worked hard for years to get where I am today, despite all the discrimination and unfair treatment thrown my way. It's not something that I'm willing to give up easily. I'm sorry, but forget what happened before." She added coldly as she walked away from him without looking back or dragging things out any longer than necessary.
Addison grabbed onto her tightly as soon as he could catch up though. Little Bunny felt a pang of sadness deep within herself at having hurt someone she loved and who loved her so deeply. But sometimes it was better to rip off a band-aid quickly rather than slowly prolong the pain.
She tried to push him away forcefully but she was pulled back against the wall instead.
Little Bunny glared fiercely at him.
"Little Bunny! How can you suddenly think that your feelings have disappeared? And suddenly you stop liking me?" asked Addison, with tears in his eyes.
"What do I have to do to make you believe?"
"Kiss me!" Addison looked into her eyes and continued, "I don't believe you don't have feelings for me."
Little Bunny pursed her lips. She didn't expect Addison to make such a request suddenly.
"If you kiss me and still leave, I won't force you." He said.
"Okay."
For actors like them, kissing was normal. She could kiss anyone without any emotions attached to it.
Little Bunny lifted her head and leaned towards Addison's lips. They were so close that they could feel each other's breaths. Her heart was racing, but she could control herself when it came to the man she liked. She closed her eyes, ready to kiss him when suddenly a cold voice interrupted them.
"If you dare kiss him, I'll ruin both of your careers!"
Theodore appeared out of nowhere with an ominous tone in his voice that startled both of them.
"This is what you meant by having nothing going on between you and Addison?" Theodore sneered at Little Bunny. "What would have happened if I hadn't shown up? You would've kissed him here then gone back to a hotel room before returning to my place! You're dirty."
Little Bunny remained calm despite Theodore's sarcasm. His words did not matter much now as she only worried about how she could protect Addison from this dangerous man who scared her more than anything else in the world.
"Do you believe me if I say nothing is going on between us?" Little Bunny asked Theodore calmly.
Theodore laughed mockingly.
"I know whatever I say won't change your mind." Little Bunny tried hard to keep herself composed. "I can't explain what just happened either but I promise this will never happen again."
She knew there was no way for her explanation or excuse because there wasn't any. All she could do was make a promise.
She walked away from Addison, who tried to pull her back since they had been discovered. But Little Bunny quickly swatted his hand off and shouted at him, "Don't touch me! Compared with Theodore, you are nothing!"
