Rise Of The Hoarder
Chapter 381 The Scenario Mission Begins!

[2 Days Later]

"Welcome, everyone."

In the days following the first devastating earthquake that shook their underground sanctuary, Guildmaster Pariah finally called his team leaders to his office for the official meeting.

Thus far, there had been no special incidents following the first earthquake, but Demons had been spawning at a massive rate all over the globe.

Fortunately, thanks to their high fortress, no member of the Gifted Alliance had been affected too much.

They had food and water, as well as shelter, so they didn't suffer the fate that those on the surface would be experiencing at the moment.

A literal hell on Earth.

The Guildmaster's Office remained as meticulously organized as ever, with relics and Items adorning the shelves, while maps and charts displayed the chaotic state of the world above.

As his team leaders assembled, Paul sat behind his desk, his expression a mix of determination and concern.

He knew that the time had come to take action against the demonic forces that now plagued the surface world.

Nye, the leader of the Alpha Team, was the first to speak. "Guildmaster, our subordinates are ready. They've been training relentlessly, and we've reinforced their Items to withstand the demonic onslaught."

Lisa, leader of the Beta Team, nodded in agreement. "Our defenses are at their peak. We're ready to engage the enemy and protect humanity."

Tia, the leader of the Gamma Team, added, "Scouts have been gathering valuable intel on the demon forces. We know their weaknesses, and we're prepared to strike when the time is right."

Luke, the Omega Team leader, spoke up with confidence. "The fortress is fully operational, and our security protocols are top-notch. We can launch a raid on the surface world at your command."

Paul looked at each of them, his eyes reflecting his trust in their abilities. "Good work, everyone. We've faced numerous challenges, and it's time to take the fight to the demons. Our goal is humanity's ultimate victory in this second scenario."

The first week was all about the theme of the 'Great Earthquake' and even though they only had to survive the week to pass the Quest, there was more to it than that.

"We need to solve the first mystery of the first misery. There's also bound to be a Boss in this round."

Currently, they had spent three whole days out of the whole week in preparation for their raid.

However, now was the time to strike.

With a shared determination, the team leaders nodded in unison.

Paul continued, "Prepare your teams and ensure they are equipped with the best Items we have. We'll coordinate our efforts to strike at the heart of the demonic forces and weaken their hold on the surface."

The room was filled with a sense of urgency as the team leaders stood and saluted their Guildmaster.

"Understood, Guildmaster Pariah. We won't let you down," they chorused.

Paul rose from his seat, his expression resolute. "Get in gear and make the necessary preparations. The fate of humanity rests on our shoulders. This is the first step toward our ultimate victory."

With those words, the team leaders exited the office, leaving Paul alone to contemplate the daunting task ahead.

The battle for humanity's survival was about to escalate, and the Gifted Alliance was ready to face it head-on.

"I'm sure you'll once again stand in my way… Jeremy. But this time, I'll be ready for you."

Nothing was going to mess up this moment.

Nothing!

*******

As the Gifted Alliance gathered within their flying fortress, the air was thick with anticipation.

Hundreds of various individuals, each led by their respective team leader, stood in formation before a grand teleportation circle.

The hum of energy filled the chamber as the circle began to glow with an intense light.

Guildmaster Pariah stood at the forefront, his gaze unwavering.

Beside him, Nye, Lisa, Tia, and Luke, the team leaders, were ready to lead their respective teams into the chaos that awaited them on the surface.

The entire alliance was a force to be reckoned with, and their determination was palpable.

"Let us begin…"

~VWUUUUUUUMMMM!!!~

As the teleportation circle blazed to life, the world outside their fortress came into view. It was a scene of ruin and devastation.

Skyscrapers lay in shattered ruins, and fires burned unchecked across the landscape. The air was thick with the acrid scent of destruction, and the distant roars of demons echoed through the smoky haze.

Paul turned to address his comrades, his voice ringing with resolve.

"We stand on the precipice of humanity's salvation. Our mission is clear: push back the demonic horde, secure vital areas, and prepare for the arrival of our people. We are the last line of defense, and we will not falter."

His words were met with a chorus of determined nods and resolute expressions. Each member of the Gifted Alliance understood the gravity of their task.

"As explained prior, our groups will be split into two: the elite and general ranks. The General Ranks will hold off the demon horde and gather as many resources as possible in the surface, while the Elite will venture within the Earthquake's crevices to replace the Boss and hopefully put an end to this scenario early."

Thanks to the investigations performed by the scouting team, the Gifted Alliance was not running in blind.

They all knew what they were doing.

As proof of this, Pariah turned to his leaders and nodded to them so they could also get their words in.

Nye, with his ability to control time, stepped forward. "We have the advantage of surprise. Time is on our side. Let us make every second count."

Lisa, the master of energy constructs, added, "Our Items are at their peak. They'll be our greatest assets in this battle. Let's show these demons what we're made of."

Tia, the master of stealth and assassination, chimed in, "We'll infiltrate their ranks, disrupt their command, and strike fear into their hearts. They won't see us coming."

Luke, with his power of attraction and repulsion, spoke with confidence, "I'll clear a path for us, and I promise, not a demon will touch you as long as you are by my side."

With their preparations complete and their resolve steeled, the Gifted Alliance stepped onto the teleportation circle. In a blinding flash of light, they were whisked away from the safety of their fortress and onto the ravaged surface.

The scene that greeted them was chaos incarnate.

Demons of all shapes and sizes roamed the shattered streets, wreaking havoc upon the once-thriving world. But the Gifted Alliance stood undaunted, ready to face the relentless tide of darkness.

Paul raised his voice, his words carrying over the cacophony of battle. "This is a part of humanity's last stand! For our loved ones, for our world, for our future! Charge!"

With a resounding battle cry, the Gifted Alliance surged forward, each team led by their formidable leaders.

They were the last bastion of hope in a world on the brink of annihilation, and they were determined to reclaim it from the clutches of darkness.

All for the success of the mission!
