Chapter 69

"Welcome," The silver-eyed man muttered as the corner of his mouth twitched up in a smirk.

"I'll come at you later," She told him as she shifted her gaze back at the woman, Rebecca Williams, who had stolen her father from her.

A chill ran down her spine as she gazed into Alexa's eyes, her gaze was cold and transparent, her heart shook in fear, it was as if those eyes could see right through her soul, she trembled in fear. Just as Alexa stepped forward, she was repelled back, the man stood between them both, Alexa laughed hysterically as she looked at the man, "you think this will be able to stop me?" She used her powers as she destroyed the barrier, "What the hell?" The man shouted in disbelief, she then used her powers and threw him out of the window, sealing them off with a barrier of her own, "Now, there will be no disturbance," She smiled.

The woman trembled in fear but she stepped forward trying to grasp Alexa's neck but Alexa dodged her with a swift move, "I know what you did to my father," She spoke in a cold voice, her eyes turned cold as she continued, "Poisoning him, torturing him every day, did you feel good?" Alexa thrashed her against the wall making her groan in pain.

"Sticking needles into him, chanting the spells of your witchcraft, did that make him yours?" Alexa yanked her hair making her look up, "I guess not," She laughed as she dragged the woman by her hair, her cry made Alexa hum. "So how did it felt driving nails into him?" Alexa stooped down and peered into her petrified face, she then drove her nails into her shoulder, the woman screamed in pain, "Ah, I see it really feels good doesn't it?" She smiled at the woman driving her nail into her stomach, "You even tried to sleep with him, didn't you? Such a slut," She drove her nails into her lower abdomen, making blood gush out as she pulled her hand back.

"What should I do with this thing here? Did you want my father's heart? Let me show you how," she then drove her nails into her chest, "like this steadily and slowly you approach it," She smirked as the woman wriggled under her, "no... don't..." She gasped.

"You don't want to learn? No problem," She drew her hand back, the blood-spattered on her face, she licked the corner of her lips, "you're not even a good meal," She clicked her tongue, "let me punish you for what you did to my mother then," She then drove her nails again, "You dared to hurt my mom, huh? So how does this feel?" clutching her heart she slowly began to pull it out, the woman shouted and wriggled with intolerable pain, "Ah, what a sight," Alexa smiled, "Should've done this with Carla too," she clicked her tongue, "She got away easily, but no worries, nevertheless I enjoyed her scream, you too, come on, make some noise." She then slowly ripped her heart off her rib cage, the woman closed her eyes as her breath slowly halted, "hey come on, don't spoil the fun," She shouted at the dead woman, angrily she pulled her heart out and tossed it across the room.

"Are you really dead?" She kicked the woman, she then laughed hysterically as she looked at her hands, "this hand..." She paused as tears pooled in her eyes, her eyes then shifted at the muscular organ at the end of the room then her eyes stopped at the dead body, "I've actually turned into a monster!" She let out a loud scream.

Reagan growled at them as they chanted the spells strengthening the barrier, he transformed into his wolf form, making them startled, but that didn't stop them from moving their lips, he struck against the barrier but it sent him flying back inside. He snarled at the Vampire Council, who smirked as they continued to trap him inside.

"No, I need to get to Alex," He shook his head as he tried to break the barrier, "Alex! Alex!" He kept on calling her name.

Just then, he heard a loud scream.

"Alex..." She then heard a voice, she turned her head in the direction of the voice, far away she saw a woman bound in chains, focusing closer she saw the face of the woman, "Mom!" She whispered.

"Is it you mom?" Tears pooled her eyes as she looked at the familiar face, "I killed her mom, I killed her, the woman who tortured you, I killed her," she laughed, "I killed her," She repeated as she hung her head.

When she looked up, her mother was gone, "Mom!" She shouted, "MOM?" She called her out but no one answered, "But..." he lower lips quivered, "She was here, just now," Tears dropped down her cheeks as she painfully cried out, "MOM!" "Want to see her?" She turned around in response to the voice, the silver-eyed man walked in front of her, "YOU!" She snarled at him before he could utter a word, she grabbed him by his neck and thrashed him on the floor, before he could even get a chance to react she curled her fingers around his neck and lifted him up in the air.

"Don't you want to replace your parents?" He asked her.

"I can replace them on my own," She roared as she tightened her grip around his neck, his face started to grow red as he struggled for his life, raising his staff in the air, he hit her hand, making it burn, she immediately pulled back, making him drop on the ground.

"YOU!" Her eyes changed the color as she tried to grab the man but her hands slipped through the air as he disappeared from there. "You think you can run away?" The corner of her lips went up in a nasty smirk, she snapped her head in the direction of the sound, she chased him like a mad.

She opened every door of the castle, searched every nooks and crook but man he was good at hiding, with every passing second, her anger got the best of her. "I've had enough!" She shouted making the castle tremble. Just then, she sensed the stranger, "Gottcha!" She spoke behind him, sending chills down his spine. She grabbed him and was about to tear his head off when she felt a sudden repulsion, she threw him away, she slowly stood up looking around the place, she noticed they weren't inside the castle anymore, "Where the hell?" She shouted.

The man stood on his feet and adjusted his collar, "Now, we finally have you here." He snickered. Alexa was pulled against the wall by a strong force, she was confused. She then looked beneath her she had stepped on a magical circle, she growled at the man in front of her.

"If you think you can keep me here, you're mistaken!" She yelled as she defied the force that pulled her back, she held out her hand that touched the barrier, the mysterious man was pushed back as he could feel the extent of her power, he looked at his trembling hand and then back at her, "no... this can't be... this barrier is no ordinary one...she's grown more powerful?" He cocked his head to the side. He immediately held out his staff as he strengthened the barrier, "You can't win against me," She smirked at him as she focused more, the barrier started to crack, making him cough up blood, he was pushed back by a strong force making his hair fly, making his right unusual eye visible, his pupil was slitted with magenta- colored iris mixed with a whitish hue.

"Your eyes..." Alexa muttered.

She scoffed as she centralized her powers on the crack that had formed, the electricity sent her flying back, setting the place on fire. "Let me out!" She screamed out as she unleashed her powers.

Sensing that he can't hold her back much longer he quickly placed the hairpin in the center of the summoning circle, which made the curtains lift up, Alexa stopped as her eyes stopped at the large door with the golden ancient carvings, she gasped as the memories of her dreams flooded in her mind making her shout in pain.

"Hello, again," The voice was inside her head.

"NO!" Alexa cried out, making her powers go wild.

The door creaked a little, Alexa's eyes widened in horror, "No, No," She shook her head trying to control her powers, suddenly she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen, "Argh!" She cried out, taking the advantage of her weak moment she was pulled against the wall and tied up in chains.

"Now, give yourself to me," The voice commanded her.

Reagan finally managed to break out of the barrier, he growled at the vampires as he attacked them, one of them used their powers to hold him off producing a barrier around them, the other one used his powers and electrocuted him just then, throwing him across the room.

He shook his head as he stood back up, one of them came in front of him and twisted her hand, making him twist in pain, he whimpered as he fell on his back. All of them used their powers again setting up a barrier around him. "NO!" His ears picked up Alexa's voice. His wounds healed in an instant, emitting a menacing aura he ran past the barrier and grabbed their heads with his teeth within a second he tore their heads off their bodies.

Something on his back stung, he turned around and passed a death glare at the man who was trying to burn him with his fire shots, Reagan kicked him off throwing his body across the room, jumping on his chest he crushed his whole body. He jumped up to the other side blocking the path of the Vampires who tried to escape, he tore them into pieces, limb by limb, dismantling them.

After finishing them off, he ran to search for Alexa, the floor cracked beneath him before it crumbled down he quickly transformed into his human form and grabbed onto the edge as the ground beneath crumbled down. He jumped back in the hallway and then ran to his mate.

Following her screams, he came across a large door, "Alex!" he shouted as he banged the door, "Reagan... no... don't..." she muttered, just then the door burst open, "Alex!" She turned her head to the direction of the sound, the door then flung open as Reagan made his way inside.

"NO! Stay away!" She shouted but he was already headed to the man with a dark look on his face.

He grabbed him by his neck and growled as he tightened his grip, the man just smirked at him as his gaze shifted at the door which creaked opening little by little. Alexa tried to free herself from the chains but the pain in her stomach made her weak, "Why don't you worry about yourself?" The woman spoke inside her head.

"Get out of my head!" Alexa shouted, Just then the door opened wide, Reagan's eyes widened in horror. Alexa's consciousness started to fade.

"What a view" The woman spoke inside her head, "No, No!" Alexa shouted as she slowly started to lose control of her body, "Now it's mine," The voice laughed as her hands broke free of the chains, "bye, bye, Alex, it was nice knowing you," the voice replied as she slowly felt her consciousness fade away.

"This is it, this is it!" She shouted in excitement, "I'm finally free! Yes, this power, I can feel it, this tremendous amount of power is mine, finally mine!" She laughed.

Reagan threw the man across the room and moved closer to Alexa, "Alex?" His eyes searched her face.

With a nasty smirk on her face, she turned around to face him, "She's long gone," She laughed hysterically, "Why don't you join her? I'll help you," She drew in the sword and swung at him, he barely managed to dodge it, "Alex, you hear me right? Wake up, Alex!" He called her out.

"She can't hear you," the woman laughed as she swung her sword again, "And with you gone, no one will be able to stop me, no one, I'll burn this world down, the very world that rejected me!" She shouted as she aimed at his heart, but suddenly, she was repelled by an electric force. She cried in pain as she clutched her abdomen.

"This... This thing..." she muttered as she felt a different power surging through her.

"I know you're there, Alex, answer me, Alex, Wake up!" Raegan closed in and grabbed her shoulders shaking her, he shouted, "You promised me Alex! Wake up!"

"Shut up!" the woman shouted as she kicked him away, "I told you she ain't coming back," Her eyes glowed red as she attacked him, he rolled away dodging her moves. Reagan was suddenly thrown against the wall, he groaned in pain as he slid down the wall.

He clutched his arm as he slowly stood on his feet, his wounds healed in an instant, "You!" The man glared at him in anger.

"Stop," She raised her hand to stop him, "it's no use, only these hands can kill him," She told him before grabbing her sword. "Alex..." Reagan muttered.

"Yeah, yeah, since you miss her so much, I'll send you to her, hmm?" Her lips curled up in a smile as she drew her sword and aimed at his heart.
