Roar of the Supreme Warrior -
Chapter 4147
James decided to leave the Palace of Compassion and make his way to Planet Desolation to assess the current situation before making any further plans.
There was still some time before the decisive battle, so he did not have to rush his cultivation. He would be strong enough to defeat everyone as long as he could reach the Quasi Acme Rank and cultivate Flame Art's Three Fire Transformations. James put away the Ignis and stretched his body, which creaked in response.
Absorbing and refining the Ignis effectively tempered his body. Thus, his physical strength was more robust than before. However, it had yet to reach the last stage of the Quasi Acme Rank, but he was fortunately not far from it. It was likely he would reach it very soon if he obtained a few more boons.
After absorbing and refining the Ignis, James chose to stop cultivating and got ready to leave the abyss. He flew up toward the formation's barrier and bypassed it easily. As soon as James appeared outside the formation, he saw many creatures outside. They were all unwilling to give up on the Compassionate Path Master's inheritance.
Although James and Wotan had been in the Palace of Compassion for tens of thousands of years, they still held onto the hope that they would obtain something. When Wotan entered the Palace of Compassion, he emerged rather quickly. However, he did not say anything to the crowd and promptly left the area. Thus, those waiting outside had no idea what happened inside the formation and did not know if Wotan had obtained anything.
Now that James was also leaving the formation, it attracted a lot of attention. Among the group were many powerhouses from various major races. Even Leilani, Wynnstan, and some other powerhouses were present. "Forty-nine is back!"
"He emerged after thirty thousand years. I wonder if he's obtained the Compassionate Path Master's inheritance..."
"So what if he obtained it? How much can he improve in just thirty thousand years? Wotan's gone already. Now that he's not here, it's time we kill Forty-Nine."
...
James immediately noticed hostile gazes directed at him. He also noticed the space around the area had been sealed.
Tens of thousands of eyes leered at
him greedily. However, he just
smiled lightly. He would have tried to
break the seal and escape if his strength was the same as when he first entered the Palace of Compassion. Now, he was not Scared of them at all.
James strode toward them confidently. A few creatures backed away in response.
James appeared at the mountain base and looked at the creatures before him. The faint smile was still on his face as he said, "It's already been thirty thousand years, yet you're all still loitering here?" "Forty-nine?"
Wynnstan stood up, pointed at him, and said coldly, "Now that Wotan is gone, you won't be able to escape from this place even if you have the greatest treasure from the Palace of Compassion. You'll die here today." "Is that so?"
James did not take Wynnstan's threats seriously.
He looked around him, and his eyes swept over every single person. Everyone that met his gaze inadvertently backed away nervously.
James said coldly, "I've no intention
of going on a killing spree either. If you treasure your lives, you may leave instantly. I won't make things difficult for anyone. If you don't leave, I will interpret it as hostite
intent, and I won't show any mercy."
A few of the creatures paled at his threat. Those with weaker cultivation bases chose to flee from the place.
Wynnstan noticed the creatures
around him considering leaving and yelled at them, "Don't listen to him! He's afraid and is simply trying to scare you all. If we attack him all at once, we'll be able to kill him. If we don't kill him now, he will massacre everyone if he gets out of this place."
