Chapter 1066 Not Hostess But A Beer Promoter

It was already past 10 pm when Nathan and Colin left Mid Channing.

Nathan felt a bit hungry, so he invited Colin for a meal along the nearby Supper Street.

Upon reaching Supper Street, they quickly decided on one of the eateries and ordered a ton ofdishes.

Suddenly, a young woman dressed as a beer promoter approached them and asked shyly, "Sir, doyou want to order some beer?"

She seemed to be around sixteen or seventeen years old—the age of a college student. Nathanfound her rather conspicuous given her young age and that she was wearing a miniskirt.

He glanced at the attractive young woman before replying, "Give me two dozen beers!"

The young woman smiled sweetly upon hearing his reply and quickly proceeded to serve the beerto Nathan and Colin.

Seeing that she was rather unfamiliar with uncapping the beer bottle, Nathan asked, "I guess youare still studying? Why are you out selling beer?"

The young lady looked at Nathan warily upon hearing his question. But for some reason unbeknownto her, she felt she could trust him when she saw the determination in his eyes.

She replied softly, "I am a high school junior. My family is poor, so I work as a beer promoter afterschool to support my education and household expenses."

Poor children indeed have to manage household affairs at an early age!

Nathan nodded in approval and complimented her, "Not bad. You earn your own keep!"

The girl widened her eyes in surprise. She had kept her part-time beer promoter job a secretbecause no one would support her decision. In fact, Nathan was the only person who agreed withher.

Taking a second look at Nathan, she muttered softly, "Thank you for your understanding!”

At this moment, a few young chaps with brightly colored hair from the neighboring table called out toher, “Hey, babe! We want to order some beer! Come over here!"

The young lady hurried over and asked with a smile, "Hi, how many bottles of beer do you want toorder?"

A blond-haired man smiled evilly, "How much is a bottle?"

"It's seven a bottle. You will enjoy a 30% discount if you order a dozen."

The blond-haired man took out notes totaling a thousand from his wallet and slammed it on thetable. Peering lecherously at the young lady in her miniskirt, he smiled slyly. "Here's a thousand. Iwant a dozen beer. But there is a condition: You must sit down and drink with me."

The blond-haired man patted his own thigh as he said that, signaling the young woman to sit on hislap and drink with him.

The young woman's face clouded over upon hearing his words; she rejected him firmly. "Sorry. I'monly a beer promotor and not a hostess.”

The blond-haired man became infuriated and slammed the table. "Are you out to embarrass me?"

She panicked and apologized frantically, "I don't mean that. But I really don't drink, and I'm not ahostess...”

Suddenly, the man stood up and stretched his hand to stuff the money into her collar. He thensuggested with a sinister smile, "It's okay if you don't drink; one can always learn. Furthermore, youcan earn more money drinking with me than selling beer for an entire week. So, why don't youoblige? I love schoolgirls. If you serve me well I may even tip you a thousand more."
