Chapter 1305 Who Hurt The Seventh Master
Chapter 1305 Who Hurt The Seventh Master
Gary's jaw dropped in astonishment.
He was surprised when he heard about how Nathan had killed Lupin, but he hadn't seen the battlewith his own eyes.
Tiger and Bear used to serve under his grandpa. After they left the military, they were assigned tokeep Gary safe.
He was offensive and got in tons of fights with others. However, both men always solved the issuesinstantly.
Gary never dreamed that both of his chief bodyguards would die by Nathan's hand.
After killing Tiger and Bear, Nathan walked menacingly toward Gary. "I wanted to be respectful toOld Master Jordan and let you live, but you ignored my offer."
Gary suddenly felt an inexplicable fear when he looked into Nathan's vicious gaze.
"What do you think you're doing?" growled Gary when he finally regained his composure."Everybody attack! Kill him right now."
All of his subordinates attacked Nathan as soon as they heard his orders.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Those bodyguards never even got close to Nathan before he kicked them away.
Gary stared as Nathan approached him. Gary's voice sounded threatening when he said, "Let meremind you that I am a member of the Jordan family. If you hurt me, your entire family will pay theprice!"
"Is that so?" scoffed Nathan. "Get on your knees!"
He put his hand on Gary's shoulder and pushed ever so slightly.
Gary, however, felt as though a mountain had crushed him. He fumbled and fell hard on his knees.
It hurt so much that tears rolled down his eyes.
Despite all that, Gary was still from a powerful family. He might be a spoiled and worthless man, buthe was as prideful as his grandpa.
He gritted his teeth and insisted, "I dare you to kill me, Nathan Cross. My brother, Lucius, willavenge me. I guarantee your entire family will die a horrible death.”
Nathan had hurt him. However, in Gary's furious state, the first thought that came to his mind wasn'tthat his grandpa would avenge his death. He thought of his brother, Lucius, instead.
The reason behind it was simple.
His grandpa was more rational and was the head of the Jordan family. As such, Old Master Jordanhad always seen the bigger picture and put the family business first.
Moreover, Gary was just the seventh grandson, so his grandpa did not treasure him.
Hence, the old man would choose to protect his own reputation.
Gary's brother, Lucius, was a different
story.
Lucius had always been barbaric and unreasonable.
Moreover, the two brothers were close. Lucius had always cleaned up Gary's mess.
That was why he threatened Nathan with Lucius, who was the next big thing of the Jordans and arising star in the military.
Because of his family background and connections, many thought Lucius would have adistinguished career in the military and surpassed Nathan, who came from an ordinary family.
There were people who even went as far as calling Lucius the future of the military.
Naturally, Nathan had heard about Old Master Jordan's incredible grandson, but he remainedunfazed. "I don't care if Lucius is here. Heck, I don't even give a shit if Old Master Jordan isstanding right in front of me. No one can save you from your sins!"
Gary and the others were stunned to hear that. They never thought anyone would disregard theJordan family like that.
"Do you have any last words?"
Gary's face turned pale, and he trembled in fear.
Hagrid and the others were stunned too. Nathan is actually going to kill Gary?
At that moment, a loud voice rang up from the other side of the door. "Who hurt the SeventhMaster?"
Nathan frowned. Everyone in the room turned their attention toward the door.
They saw a few men marched in.
The leader who spoke up earlier was an enormous man with a fierce look on his face. He wascomposed, reserved, and alert which showed that he was a high-ranking officer in the military.
A few well-trained subordinates followed behind him. Everyone walked at the same
tempo and in a straight line.
