After the roller coaster of unwanted events that transpired that day, Nathan and Kylie decided toleave that place.

Just as they exited the Fantasy Nightclub, they saw a Porsche stopping right before them. Anattractive lady with cascading curls emerged from the car.

Not only was she conventionally beautiful, but she also had the aura of an aristocrat lady.

The way that she carried herself exuded much grace and elegance. Only the noble ladies born intowealth would carry themselves as such naturally.

The dazzling lady's gaze was fixated on Nathan the moment that she got out of her car. Kylie couldnot help but frown. Her sixth sense was telling her that the lady standing before them was interestedin Nathan.

As she eyeballed the charming woman from head to toe, she could feel alarm bells being set offwithin her head.

Similarly, Nathan furrowed his brows as the lady walked toward them.

As it turned out, the stunning beauty standing before them went by the name Cheryl Stewart. Shewas from a prestigious family in Brimmopolis, and her father was the director of the Ministry ofHealth, among the other twentyeight ministries managed by the Cabinet of the country.

Back when Nathan had been bestowed the title of the General of the North, Hansel and Camilla hadwanted to introduce Cheryl to him in hopes that they would become a couple.

Cheryl was an elite lady who was born into wealth. She even graduated from a top-rankinguniversity.

Her parents and brothers were all distinguished figures in various fields. Having grown up in suchan environment, the bars she set for replaceing her perfect other half had always been unrealisticallyhigh.

As such, she had never dated anyone until she graduated from college.

Likewise, when she first found out that the President and the First Lady were arranging hermarriage, she was rather reluctant about it.

However, as soon as she researched Nathan's background, she fell head over heels for him.

Not only was Nathan a gorgeous man of high status, but he was also impeccable in every

other category.

Unfortunately, much to the dismay of the noble young lady, Nathan was uninterested in her.

More accurately speaking, Nathan was already in love with another woman called Penny Smith.

And as one would expect, Cheryl did not have her way with Nathan in the end, no matter how hardshe tried. Even the President and the First Lady could not help her much. To this day, Cheryl hadbeen struggling to accept defeat.

And so, upon hearing news of Nathan coming to Brimmopolis that day, Cheryl quickly tracked himdown and made her way to the club.

Nathan was not expecting Cheryl at all. “Ms. Stewart, what a coincidence,” he said indifferently.

Cheryl smiled at him and replied, “It's not a coincidence. I came here for you.”

As she uttered those words, she leered at Kylie, who was standing by Nathan's side, and squintedher eyes, “So she's the woman whom you've been chasing after for years, or your wife, so to speak.

Hmph. She looks average!”

Kylie blinked. Cheryl was really getting on her nerves.

Nathan replied to her calmly, “She's my cousin-in-law, Kylie.”

Cheryl nodded slowly and then remarked, “Oh, your cousin-in-law. Well, if she's this average, yourwife wouldn't be too far off.”

Nathan sighed. Cheryl was obviously looking for trouble.

On the other hand, Kylie could no longer hold back her anger and spluttered, “Who the hell areyou? Why are you speaking like this? My cousin is a true beauty who's much prettier than you.Nathan and she are pretty much a match made in heaven!”

Cheryl was not expecting the average-looking girl standing before her to talk back at her. She wasused to being pampered everywhere she went.

Am I being humiliated by this brat?

Shocked and angry, she exclaimed, “You!”

Nathan did not want to get involved in a second fight that day. Stepping in, he said, “Ms. Stewart,you didn't come here to pick a fight, did you?”
