At the Tucker family's residence, Boris was extremely frustrated. A grim expression hung on hisface.

His trusted aides were all present with him.

Godric said anxiously, “Mr. Tucker, things are looking bad now. Displeased with the attacks againsthim, Nathan is determined to investigate those two attacks. At the same time, the leader of theGuardian Special Forces, Will Long, and the leader of the Secret Service, Hailey Reagan, areactively assisting him with the investigation.”

Boris replied, “Nathan is the President's disciple, while Will and Hailey are the President's trustedaides. It's reasonable that they'll help him.”

However, Boris scoffed, “Nathan wants to bring me down just by relying on those two insignificantmen? Dream on!”

Smiling appeasingly, Godric said, “It's definitely impossible for him to bring down you, Mr. Tucker.Now that the President's fallen ill, no one has the authority to touch an important cabinet official

like you.”

After those words of flattery, he reminded with a serious tone, “However, we can't just let Nathancapture Weston and Colson. If they reveal too much information and he makes a huge deal out of it,your reputation will still be tarnished even if he failed to bring you down. You're going to strive forthe presidential seat in the future. It won't be good if this scandal affected your reputation.”

Boris frowned when he heard that.

Deliberating about it, he mumbled, “Your words make sense. Help me see if there's anyone in theSecret Service who can help me kill Weston. Also, instruct Caspian to keep an eye on Colson in thehospital. If they managed to save him, Caspian will know what to do.”

Godric replied, “Yes, sir!”

Meanwhile, Nathan was eating with Kylie and Colin.

Suddenly, he received a call from Will, who reported solemnly, “General, I've got bad news. Wedidn't manage to save Colson and he died just now.”

Nathan frowned as Will continued, “What should we do, General? We can't threaten Mr. Tucker'sposition just by Weston's testimony alone.”

Narrowing his eyes, he asked sternly, “Have you announced Colson's death yet?”

Will replied, “Not yet. It has just been declared that the emergency rescue failed. His corpse is stillin the emergency room. The doctor hasn't even left when he called and informed me.”

Nathan instructed, “In that case, tell the doctors and nurses to keep it confidential. Then, announceto the public that Colson has been rescued and will be moved to the ICU ward.”

Will was stunned momentarily before quickly widening his eyes. He asked, “General, are you tryingto lure him out?”

Nathan replied indifferently, “Colson is a highly important figure in this. If he's not dead, Boris willdefinitely be extremely worried and send someone to kill him.”

Upon hearing that, Will smiled. “If he sends someone over, we'll seize that person. That'll be enoughto prove that Colson is associated with

Boris.”

Nathan added, “Right. In addition to Weston's testimony, it'll be hard for Boris to deny hisinvolvement with them even if he's a cabinet member.”

At that thought, Will became excited.

However, disappointment soon came over him and he sighed. “But Boris is still a cabinet official.Now that the President's sick, it'll be very difficult for us to rule him guilty.”
