Salute To The General
Chapter 1801

Chapter 1801

Saxon exchanged a look with his troops, then laughed heartily.

Meanwhile, Nathan was calmly staring at Saxon and the rest.

As for Colin and the Elite Eight, they were like sculptures standing motionlessly behind Nathan.

However, their gaze was sharp, and their breathing slow and light.

Their bodies were as tensed as a springboard.

The holsters by their waist were unbuttoned, whereas their guns reloaded.

They, like Saxon's troops, were ready to kill anytime an order was given.

Saxon's laughter suddenly stopped. He then stared malevolently at the troop and sneered. "Nathan, you're at the headquarters of the Xyperian border army. There're over tens of thousands of Xyperian army just in this base alone.

"Furthermore, we have no less than three hundred thousand troops standing by in this vast border.

"Yet, you hope to kill me with just these few people?

"Did you think our Xyperian army was just for show? That you could come and go freely from our base camp? And we will just let you have free rein over who to kill?

"I warn you to surrender now. I could still spare your life if you agreed to be our prisoner of war."

Nathan responded, "The reason I'm here is to kill you. Yet, you asked me to surrender. Is this a joke?" "Since you have a death wish, I would be happy to grant it," Saxon retorted.

"Kill them!"

The Xyperian army pulled out their guns in mere seconds at Saxon's command.

However, Colin and the Elite Eight were faster.

In just a short moment, sounds of guns firing and people screaming echoed in the hall.

Many who belonged to the Xyperian army fell to the ground with tiny pools of blood slowly forming around them.

Outside, the air-raid siren started blaring.

Nathan walked towards Saxon despite having gunshots fired all around him.

The latter pulled out a golden Desert Eagle, switched off the safety, and aimed it at Nathan.

However, at this time, Nathan was already beside him.

Sending a high kick, Nathan knocked the golden Desert Eagle in Saxon's hand before the latter could pull the trigger. The golden Desert Eagle clattered to the ground a few steps away at once.

Saxon was shocked at the turn of events!

Without a moment wasted, he pulled out a dagger from his back and plunged it towards Nathan.

Yet Nathan evaded his attack once again.

Saxon raised his dagger and stabbed continuously, but Nathan managed to dodge all of them.

Noticing his chance, Nathan quickly aimed a kick at Saxon's chest.

Instantly, his chest caved in, breaking all his ribs with a loud crunch. Following that, blood was coughed out from his mouth as he fell heavily to the ground.

At that moment, he was still struggling to push himself up.

But before he could stand up, Nathan had already reached him. The former raised his leg and ruthlessly stepped on Saxon's already injured chest. Saxon felt his heart was about to explode from the pressure, and his face crumpled up in pain.

At that moment, all the Xyperian army in the hall were lying on the ground unmoving, surrounded by pools of blood.

Qu

Nathan stared coldly at Saxon, who was now underneath his foot, and said, "Since the day you crossed our border, raided our frontline outpost, and cruelly killed Lieutenant Sutcliffe with Dumdum bullets, your fate had been sealed."

With much difficulty, Saxon gasped sharply from his pain and grunted, “This is our base camp. Just in this headquarters itself, there are over tens of thousands of soldiers.

"Now that the siren had gone off, our army stationed by the border had had this place surrounded.

If

f you killed me, then all of you will die as well.

None of you get to leave here alive."

To his horror, Nathan actually smiled. "I have a safe way out in place since I dared to come here."

Just as he finished, what sounded

like a thousand military boots

marching could be heard from

outside. The Xyperian soldiers armed with sub-machine guns had surrounded the whole area.

The commander outside demanded with a megaphone, "Those of you inside, listen up. You have now been surrounded by thirty thousand Xyperian soldiers.

"Drop your weapons immediately, and release our commander-in-chief. Or else, we will shoot.”
