Fang and other generals greeted them all together and exclaimed, “General! You finally returned safely! We can be rest assured now." Nathan smiled. "You came just in time.

Otherwise, we may not be able to come back smoothly."

Fang beamed. "This time, we gave those fools in Xyperia a full head-on, so they must know how weak they are compared to us and dare not be so arrogant anymore."

Destroyer smiled heartily. "Ah, it feels so great to smash their thirty thousand troops!"

Heptakill laughed. "If we exploit our victory in hot pursuit, the three hundred thousand border troops in Xyperia would've already been defeated.” Nathan grinned and said, "That's unnecessary. If we eradicate them tonight, I'm afraid the whole world will be in chaos tomorrow. We only need to show them who's the boss." Everyone laughed.

Colin looked at Saxon, who wore an ugly expression. "General, what should we do with this guy?" Everyone's attention immediately fell on him. Saxon's face grew pale, and his voice trembled. "Gen-general...have mercy..."

Nathan stated coldly. "Now you beg for mercy? Where's your pride when you killed my military officer with dumdum bullets?"

Saxon hesitated but could not give a reply.

Nathan ordered indifferently, "Drag this bastard away and execute him to avenge the late

Lieutenant Sutcliffe."

"Yes, General!"

Shortly, several heavily armed soldiers from the North came and took Saxon away.

Not long after, a gunshot was heard.

Saxon Murphy, who murdered Lieutenant Sutcliffe, had died.

Nathan commanded, "Send back Saxon's body to the Xyperian borders, and warn the Xyperian troops that this is the consequence of destroying our armies."

Fang responded, "Yes, General!"

Nathan also ordered the North Army to be prepared and cancel all travel plans to be ready for the possible outbreak of war.

Then, he led his men and walked toward Clifford, who was not far away.

Clifford's expression was sullen-looking. "Nathan, you've surely caused a stir; we almost declared war on Xyperia."

Nathan smiled and replied, "Well, it was successful anyway. We killed Saxon and avenged Lieutenant Sutcliffe and even warned the Xyperian army by destroying thirty thousand of them."

Clifford coldly responded, "So?"

“I'm afraid this is just the beginning; Xyperia will undoubtedly protest.”

"I will hold a meeting with the President and the members of the Cab to measure your actions. Good luck to you!"

After he finished, Clifford left furiously with Quent and the escorts by plane and set off to Brimmopolis.

Fang and others who gathered around Nathan looked at Clifford's plane, which disappeared in the night sky.

Fang whispered, "General, Mr. Davier looks agitated!"

Nathan smiled. "Well, I'm sure he is, after coming all this way to cause me trouble for nothing."

Fang worriedly asked, “Will he exaggerate about your actions to make you suffer?"

Nathan responded confidently,

"Don't worry, I'm sure he's got

nothing on us tonight. Besides, the Cab will be holding a presidential

election soon; he won't be wasting too much energy on me.

It was what Nathan had expected.

The following day, after President

Windsor discussed the North Army's military actions last night among Cab, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs publicly announced a simple message: The North Army had

defended the nation against the Xperian Army's attacks.

However, Xyperia blamed the North

Army for initiating the attack that

caused casualties. They didn't

announce their losses because they felt embarrassed about losing the commander-in-chief along with thirty thousand soldiers.

Therefore, this war was not known by many as it was not widely reported.
