Salute To The General
Chapter 2050

Chapter 2050

The man's smile deepened after making sure everything looked right. "Haha. This badge looks right. This way, boss."

The wooden badge Colin had produced wasn't just any admission ticket. It was a VIP admission ticket.

Hence, Nathan, Penny, Colin and the rest of the Elite Eight members entered the Temple of

Wisdom.

The place was much bigger than they thought.

Moreover, it was extraordinarily lively in the temple tonight.

Besides the locals, there were plenty of foreigners of various nationalities who came from all over the world.

These people occupied the tables and chairs that had been set up for the event.

It was so packed that Nathan was starting to question whether he had entered the Temple of Wisdom or a restaurant.

At the moment, a slender young lady dressed in a strange costume and a female ghost mask appeared out of nowhere and addressed Nathan politely. "Hello, Mr. Cross. We've prepared a private room for you since you're our VIP guest. This way please."

Nathan nodded. "Okay."

Soon, the young lady led Nathan and the gang up the wooden stairs to a private room on the second floor.

One could see everything happening in the first floor through a window in the room.

There was also a giant LCD TV mounted on the wall so that the occupants in the room could see the auction items as well as hear what the auctioneer was saying.

The lady in the female ghost mask brewed some tea for Nathan and the gang, smiled and said, "Mr. Cross, you can see the auction items either from the window or from the TV. Just press the bell on the table if you see anything you like and would like to bid for it. We will serve you immediately." Nathan glanced at the bell on the antique table and nodded. "Alright."

The young lady bowed. "Alright, I will leave you alone then. Get the security outside to call me if you need anything."

She then left the room.

Nathan and Penny sat by the window and sipped tea. They observed the buyers who came from all over the world from the window while waiting for the auction to start.

The four Elite Eight members stood tall and motionless as if they were statues.

As for Colin, he brought a laptop over to show Nathan and Penny the items put up for auction tonight.

Feeling intrigued, Nathan and Penny scrolled through the list of auction items.

A lot of items were put up for auction tonight, including all kinds of rare gems and exotic items including Wyland Huck's abstract painting.

Penny wasn't the least bit interested in all these antiques since not one item caught her eye.

Nathan smiled. "Well then, we'll just focus on getting Wyland Huck's abstract painting back tonight."

Penny was about to say something when someone suddenly barged into their room.

It was an arrogant yet beautiful young lady in her late twenties and her subordinates.

She said coldly. "How could the

Sublime Room not be given to me when I'm part of the Davier family? Who is this? Who took over Sublime Room? Who is Ghost Auction. House's most important guest tonight?"

The beautiful young lady was none other than Clifford's niece who had just returned from abroad, Shae Davier.

Shae was born with a silver spoon

and had led a lavish lifestyle since young. She was constantly

surrounded by her admirers even when she studied abroad forthe past few years.

She received news that her uncle had set her up with the Chief Military Governor after returning from abroad.

Hence, she considered herself 'the most sort after goddess'.

Shae attended the legendary Ghost Auction House's auction tonight thinking she would be guaranteed the Sublime Room and would most definitely be the most influential and most respected guest in the room.

Never had she expected that the Ghost Auction House would give the room to someone else.

In a fury, she stormed into Sublime Room along with her subordinates to see the culprit who had stolen her limelight.
