Salute To The General
Chapter 2111

Chapter 2111

Tyron had been a captain among the Draconians. Other than being domineering and unruly, he was known for his hotheaded and inhumane comportment.

He had met leaders from various levels.

Hence, when he saw Nathan and Will, he showed no sign of being intrepid. In fact, if he was really afraid of Nathan and Will, he wouldn't have had the courage to be there.

With a somber expression, Will started in a dispassionate tone, "Tyron, how insolent of you to have brought your men to strike the military prison. Who gave you such a right and courage to show up in this way?"

Tyron's only eye was brimming with intimidating confidence as he answered, "I'm here with the order from the Cab secretary, Mr. Davier. The military has locked up the followers of the Davier family for no reason and now Mr. Davier is ordering you to release him immediately!"

Will was exasperated. "What do you mean by 'no reason'? Langston and his men stirred up troubles and disrupted the order. They even tried to harm our general. That's an inexcusable offense. His arrest was well-founded. Mr. Davier is in charge of the Cab affairs and has no right to interfere in the military affairs. And you, Tyron, you were once a soldier yourself. Even though you've left, you should have retained your respect toward the army. How dare you assemble your men and assault the military prison? Do you think I won't arrest you?"

Tyron snorted, "Will, how could you criticize Mr. Davier? Mr. Davier has already informed the President and the Chief Military Governor about this matter and even they have stated that they won't intervene in the dispute between the Daviers and Nathan. Who do you think you are? Are you greater than the Chief Military Governor? Even the Chief Military Governor is staying out of this matter and you're trying to interfere with our business?"

The Chief Military Governor?

Unwittingly, Will took a glance at Nathan who was standing right next to him.

Tyron thought that Will was startled by what he said so he continued, "Will, you're considered one of the prime generals of the country and you might even have the chance to be part of the Cab in the future. Nathan has been utterly cast aside that even the President and the Chief Military Governor paid no attention to him anymore. It'll be extremely unwise of you to offend Mr. Davier for such a loser. Take my advice. Release the man and leave this place.

Take your soldiers with you when you go. Leave Nathan to me. Mr. Davier will remember this kind gesture from you and he'll be showing you more courtesy when you join the Cab next time."

Tyron was of the opinion that if Will was reasonable and foresighted enough, he would definitely switch to support the Daviers instead of backing Nathan.

However, much to his surprise, Will showed no intention of altering his stance.

A faint smile crept on Will's face as he said, "Haha. what if I persist in backing our general and not release Langston? What if I choose to make myself an enemy of the Daviers?"

Tyron replied coldly, "Very well then. You leave me with no choice but to affront you."

With that, he ordered his

subordinates who were armed with loaded guns, "Prepare to strike. Be careful not to injure Major-General Long. Just take him to the side to rest As with the rest of them

whoever dares to stand in our way in

rescuing Langston has to die."

Swoosh!

All of Tyron's subordinates who were standing behind him raised their weapons, getting ready to fire.

Simultaneously, Colin and the Elite Eight who were behind Nathan, alongside the men brought over by Will as well as the guards at the Oxen Prison also raised their weapons. At that moment, both parties were ready to start a battle at the gate of the Oxen Prison.

Bloodshed was about to break out in any second.

It was in that instance that Nathan who had been silent all the while finally spoke, "Tyron, how dare you lead a group of armed men to attack the military prison? Are you trying to annihilate all the soldiers and guards working here as well as those that Will and I have brought over? Are you openly opposing the military?"

Tyron frowned as he listened to what Nathan said. Even though the Chief Military Governor has stated that he'll not interfere with the conflict between the Davier family and Nathan, in the event that the Daviers really caused a bloodbath at the military prison, killing Will's guards and the soldiers working there, the Chief Military Governor might be awfully triggered.

After all, if the military prison was struck and a huge number of soldiers were sacrificed, as the supreme military commander, the Chief Military Governor would also be abashed. By then, he might even resent the Davier family for messing with the military.

All of a sudden, Tyron was in two minds. He couldn't decide whether to initiate the strike or to retreat.

Colin who was standing next to Nathan looked at Tyron with a poker face and started in a ruthless tone, "If you dare to start the fire, I promise you'll be the first to die and it'll be headshot!"

The Master Sharpshooter from the North was loud and firm.
