Salute To The General
Chapter 2167

Chapter 2167

Clifford's eyes burned with hatred when he glared at Nathan. "Is there even a difference between life imprisonment and the death sentence?" asked Clifford.

Nathan answered calmly, "There is, and it won't just make a difference to you. It will make a difference to your family as well."

Hearing those words got Clifford to turn quiet.

Nathan's words had made it clear. If Clifford handed over all his money to the government, he would survive and would only get life imprisonment. On the other hand, if Clifford kept being stubborn, the other members of the Davier family would likely suffer for it as well.

The Davier family had already been forced out of the playing field. Their heirs could no longer work in the business, political, and military fields.

If Clifford cooperated, there was a chance that the punishment imposed on the Davier family would slowly become lighter. Our heir might be able to start a business in the future.

On the other hand, if Clifford refused to cooperate, he would basically force the Davier family to permanently stay out of any position of power. Clifford felt like he had aged a decade in mere seconds, and his fighting spirit was nowhere to be seen. He was completely defeated.

He had his head down and replied, "Fine, I will give up all of my wealth and will be cooperative with whatever punishment I am given.” Nathan nodded and said, "Good!"

On the ocean.

Simone led Ariarica's navy, Nakajima led Jetroina's navy, Reno led Ferropene's navy, and Catherine led Eagleland's navy. Everyone was in their position to rehearse the fight.

Unfortunately, the Dragon Warriors were nowhere to be seen when the others showed up at the designated area.

Simone and the others were stumped.

Reno was both surprised and infuriated. "Where is Eurasia's fleet? That Nathan dude didn't run and hide like a coward, did he?" Nakajima cussed as well, "The citizens of Eurasia are such wimps."

Reno yelled angrily, "Then why is he nowhere to be seen?"

Simone was frustrated as well. Did Nathan notice that something was off? Did that prompt him to leave earlier?

As Simone analyzed the situation, he turned to Catherine, who remained quiet throughout the conversation. Simone asked, "What is your take on the matter, Duchess?"

Catherine grinned and replied, "I have no idea what Nathan is up to as well. Maybe he got the coordinates mixed up and is waiting for us in the wrong place?"

Simone couldn't help rolling his eyes at that.

Nathan's not an idiot, and neither are the Dragon Warriors he leads. It's not possible for them to make such stupid mistakes.

Simone didn't even bother

Leve

bullsh*tting with Catherine anymore.

He thought about calling the

headquarters and using his

country's satellite system to locate Nathan and his fleet. Maybe they

can give us a general location?

Just then, Simone received a report about how Nathan's fleet had completed their mission and returned to Avenport.

What? Nathan's fleet has completed its mission and returned?

Simone and the others were stunned in place.

Simone couldn't help lose his temper and cursed, "Bullsh*t! Eurasia's fleet never even showed up in their designated spot as planned. How could they have accomplished their mission?"

The subordinate didn't know how to answer that question, so he said, "Nathan is requesting a video conference with you. Should I accept the call?" Simone howled, "Yes!"

Nathan showed up in the group video conference soon after.

He was still smiling when he greeted, "Hi, Simone. Huh? Catherine, Nakajima, and Reno. Everyone's here!"
