In Channing, Eurasia, Nathan was currently having his monthly conference call with the important members of the army.

The meeting was almost over when Sage reported, "One more thing, sir. The queen of Eagleland has sent a group of highly ranked officials led by Duchess Catherine into Eurasia for a diplomatic visit. Are you going to return and welcome the duchess?"

Nathan remembered how he had worked together with Catherine at Avenport.

He helped Catherine get rid of Reno so she would be free from his relentless pestering and in return, Catherine gave him Clifford's information so Nathan would be able to defeat him in record time.

That was the only interaction they had ever had.

What is she doing in Eurasia?

Nathan remembered Eagleland had made a request through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to punish him but it went unanswered. Could it be that they have decided to send Catherine here to press on the matter?

Nathan frowned and replied to Sage, "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs can arrange the welcome ceremony. President Woods and the Cab will be present as well. There's no need for me to return to the capital for that."

"Understood, sir," Sage answered.

Nathan announced, "Thank you, everyone." Zach, Fang, Lucas, Elijah, and the others all saluted Nathan. Nathan returned with a salute and left the meeting.

That afternoon, Catherine brought Easton and a group of other subordinates into Brimmopolis.

Simeon, the chief of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, led a group of his own subordinates to welcome their arrival.

After they greeted each other, Simeon asked Catherine where she would like to visit with a smile so that they could arrange the itinerary for them.

Catherine said casually, "I heard that there are great sceneries to be seen in Channing in the South. I've been looking forward to seeing that for a while. Could a visit there be arranged?"

Simeon was rather surprised.

The South was full of nice sceneries,

but certainly not Channing. There

were plenty of other cities with

much better scenery than Channing. Why did the Duchess seem set on going to Channing specifically?

That's confusing.

However, Eurasia always treated its guests like royalty. Since Catherine wanted to go to Channing, Simeon replied with a smile, "Of course. I will arrange for our conference to be held in Channing. I will also make sure there's ample time for the Duchess to enjoy what Channing has to offer."

"That's good to know," Catherine said with a smile.

Easton, who was standing behind Catherine, also smiled at the news.

In the evening the next day, Nathan, Penny and Kylie were enjoying dinner in Cloud Palace at the Pinnacle of Channing.

Suddenly, a bunch of besuited men rushed in and started clearing out the customers.

One of them approached Nathan's table and showed Nathan his ID as proof before saying, "Greetings. This restaurant has been booked for VIP foreign guests, please leave now."

Kylie frowned. "What sort of VIPs are they? They can just come and eat here too. There's no need to chase us out."

The worker noticed that Nathan and the two ladies were dressed rather tastefully and there was a superior aura about them, so he hurriedly explained again that it was for the safety of the VIPs.

Nathan asked curiously, "Who are they?"

The worker replied, "They are representatives from Eagleland led by Duchess Catherine."
