Salute To The General
Chapter 2277

"Let's gang up on him!" one of the assassins from the Gates of Hell shouted.

In an instant, all of the assassins rushed toward Nathan, their eyes red with blood lust, like Sending hounds lunging at their prey.

Nevertheless, Nathan was unfazed and met the charge head-on.

Swoosh!

He rammed into an enemy's chest, immediately fracturing every bit of the man's bones before sending the distorted figure flying backward.

Nathan was like a monster among the beasts, felling anyone in his path as horrid screams filled the air.

Outside the club, a huge army quietly gathered.

Every single one of the soldiers was fully equipped as they hopped off the convoy and quickly assembled.

Colin and Ava showed up as well, with a few of the Elite Eight tagging along.

Soon, two thousand elite soldiers from the Channing military district were ready and waiting.

A major approached and stood before Colin and Ava. "Sir, the assembly is complete. Do we break in right now and assist the general?" the major said after he saluted.

"According to the scout, General Cross is already in battle with the Gates of Hell," Colin said calmly.

He continued, "The men from the Gates of Hell don't use firearms, so there's no need for us to rush in. Let's give General Cross some time to flex around and vent his anger."

The major was stunned when he heard that but snapped out of it quickly after. "Yes, sir!"

Back in the hall, the fight between Nathan and the Gates of Hell had reached peak intensity.

Nathan's movements were brutally simple yet effective. Someone would collapse every time he swung his fist or landed a kick.

Even though the Gates of Hell had the number's advantage, Nathan was still dismantling them like it was nothing.

Before long, more than a hundred men had fallen.

At the same time, the two hundred or so people left started to feel scared the more they fought, seeing that Nathan got more pumped as the fight progressed. There was not the slightest sign of exhaustion in him. The God of War's true strength was unfathomable.

Bam! Bam! Bam! A few elites from the Gates of Hell were sent flying without being able to touch Nathan as soon as they got close to him.

Kristoff and Bowen were visibly upset at what was going on, while Hades became restless.

He ordered coldly, "What a bunch of idiots! Step back and stop embarrassing us. I'll take on the God of War myself."

To the people of the west, the strong were worshiped. There was no shame in submitting to a far superior opponent.

Because of that, the rest of the elites of the Gates of Hell were all prepared to give up after witnessing Nathan's almighty prowess.

Hence, Hades' order was a saving grace to them, allowing them to back away with haste.

Hades slowly approached Nathan in his black boots and bronze mask.

He was raring to go to battle and exuded an extreme amount of killing intent that shrouded the air around him.

The ground quaked with every step he took.

"The head of the Gates of Hell? Interesting," Nathan said as he looked at Hades, intrigued.

"Die!" Hades roared as he blasted a punch straight at Nathan's face.

His fist came in like a comet crashing into Earth, sweeping up a violent current before it even reached Nathan.

Everyone around them, including Penny, Kristoff, and Bowen, all lost their footing because of the terrifying gale and had to take a few steps back. Even Colin and Ava, who had just appeared at the door with the soldiers, were in awe.

At that moment, Nathan responded, catching the attack with his left hand and completely neutralizing it.

Hades felt like he had sunk his fist into an ocean as all the energy that was backing his punch dispersed instantly without even causing a ripple.
