Mateo broke out in laughter when he heard Nathan's words.

It was no secret that the Rivera family was well-known for their prominent status in Yorksland. As a result, Mateo was used to abusing his power to obtain whatever he desired. No one in Yorksland dared to challenge Mateo's authority. Mateo snorted. "You want me to get on my knees and apologize? Even Yorksland's governor is at the Rivera family's beck and call. The nerve of a nobody like you to challenge me. Who do you think you are? The Chief Military Governor?"

The loud commotion between Mateo and Nathan quickly drew everyone's attention. However, the crowd all sported different expressions.

On the other hand, the reporters flocked toward the duo like sharks drawn to blood. Hastily, they aimed their camera lenses at Mateo and Nathan, determined to capture this fight.

On one side, there was the long-retired God of War. On the other stood Yorksland's celebrity.

If the reporters managed to get their hands on such a juicy scoop, it was bound to make the headlines of tomorrow's news.

Nathan stared at Mateo coldly. These Yorksland celebrities are growing bolder and bolder.

"It looks like you aren't going to appreciate my generous offer," Nathan replied nonchalantly.

"Haha, you have no idea who you just provoked!" The smug smirk on Mateo's face grew wider. "I'm the one who's giving you a chance, not vice versa. I have booked a room at Themis Hotel. If you send your wife there tonight and allow us to discuss the music video shooting, I might be generous enough to let this incident slide."

"Slap him," Nathan uttered.

Colin stepped forward with bloodlust radiating from his figure. "Yes, Mr.

Cross."

Upon seeing this, Mateo pinched his brows together.

"How dare you treat Mr. Rivera with such disrespect!" Mateo's assistant, Ollie Tuffin, quickly yelled at their bodyguards, "What are you guys standing around for? Get them!"

"Yes, Mr. Tuffin!"

Amongst the group of bodyguards, a few of them broke off and hurtled toward Nathan and Colin.

Bang'. Bang'. Bang!

Before they could even get close, Colin sent them all flying backward.

Mateo, Ollie, and the remaining bodyguards were instantly dumbstruck as they looked at Colin in surprise. How is he so strong?

Before Mateo could snap out of his daze, Colin had already appeared in front of him.

The sight of Colin, just inches away from him, caused Mateo to regain his senses. "I am the eldest son of the Rivera family. My father is the leader of the Young Knives! He has countless subordinates under his command. If you lay a finger on me, your entire family will pay the price! The Young Knives will hunt you down!" he blustered aggressively.

"Are you done with your nonsense?" Colin asked in an icy tone.

Huh? Nonsense? The Young Knives is the largest organization in Yorksland. Just the mere mention of it would cause people to tremble in fear. I can't believe that he just dismissed my threat with such ease. Is he insane?

Hearing Colin's dismissive reply, Mateo was so shocked that his eyes nearly bulged out of his head.

As he opened his mouth to say something, Colin raised his hand and sent his palm across Mateo's cheek.

Slap!

The slap was so powerful that Mateo instantly felt blood pool in his mouth.

At the same time, Colin's strike caused Mateo to lose his balance as he staggered backward.

But as Mateo fell, Colin's left hand shot out and grabbed him by the collar to keep him in place.

Simultaneously, Colin unleashed a rain of blows across Mateo's cheeks. Repeatedly, he slapped Mateo's face until it became swollen. The brutal impact of Colin's blows caused more blood to spew out of Mateo's mouth. When Colin finally released Mateo, the latter could no longer stand on his own. Instead, he crumpled lifelessly to the floor. His pathetic state was a stark contrast to his arrogant demeanor from earlier.

"Mr. Rivera!" Ollie screamed in

horror.

He quickly hurried forward and helped Mateo to his feet. Ollie glared at the group of stunned bodyguards. "Why are you still standing around? Did you not see how he beat up Mr. Rivera? Attack them!" Ollie snapped. "Yes, Mr. Tuffin!" One by one, the guards regained their senses.

Promptly, they lunged toward Colin and Nathan with murderous intent.

Although Mateo was already injured, they'd lose their jobs and livelihoods if they failed to get revenge by giving Nathan and Colin a severe beating.

These men had undergone vigorous training to become Mateo's personal guards. As a product of their training, they were all capable of taking on several attackers at once.

Unfortunately, they were going up against Colin, the Ultimate King of Warrior.

Against the horde of thirty guards, Colin merely snorted. Although he was outnumbered, Colin did not appear the slightest bit fazed. On the contrary, he even leaped forward to meet them head-on.

He tore through the guards like a wolf in a sheep's pen. Faced with Colin's fierce onslaught of attacks, their anguished screams echoed in the air.

In the blink of an eye, all of the bodyguards had collapsed to the floor.
