Salute To The General
Chapter 2345

The owner of Le Fleur was in a dilemma. The songs from Les Miserables were originally requested by Jace and his group. He wasn't sure if he would offend them by asking the singers to perform the song Nathan requested instead. Colin, who had been quietly standing behind Nathan, stepped forward with a thick stack of cash and placed it in the hand of Le Fleur's owner. "This is the tip from Mr. Cross."

The owner was astounded again by the generous tips. Although he wasn't certain how Nathan was related to Jace and Tye, he presumed they were friends since they shared a table. He reasoned as friends, Tye and Jace wouldn't mind accommodating Nathan's request, so he hurried over to the performers and conveyed the song request to them.

When the performer started singing the requested song, the lyrics sounded like a challenge from Nathan, and Jace's face fell.

Tye was furious and wanted to get the boss to revert to the previous songs. However, Jace gave him a harsh stare, stopping him in his tracks.

To Jace, his objective for the meeting

was clear and simple. He wanted to force Nathan into dropping charges against Mateo. So the performance on stage did not matter at all.

He looked fixedly at Nathan and said, "I've come all the way from Yorksland, so do not doubt my sincerity and resolve, Mr. Cross. I suggest you reconsider your answer to my earlier proposal. I made a generous offer, and I will be very upset if such a generous offer is rejected. If 1 am unhappy, my boys will be unhappy too, and that will mean big trouble for the one upsetting us."

Sean had heard about Jace and the

Young Knives' fearsome reputations, so when he heard Jace's stern words, he started trembling in fear.

Penny could not help but frown at the unveiled threat.

On the other hand, Nathan was still cool as a cucumber, and he nonchalantly asked, "Are you trying to threaten me, Mr. Rivera?"

Jace smilingly took a sip of tea before looking Nathan straight in the eyes and replied, "You can say it is a warning, but it is also not wrong to see it as a threat."

Once he finished his sentence, Tyrone and Reggie immediately slammed on the table, stood up, and glared at Nathan.

"Jace had already made it very clear to you, brat. You had better know what is good for you!" Tyrone sneered at Nathan.

"That's right! If you decide not to drop charges against Mateo, then none of you can leave this place alive!" Reggie chipped in to coerce Nathan.

Nathan scowled at the two of them and ordered, "Silence these annoying dogs!"

"Yes, Mr. Cross!" Colin immediately stepped up and charged toward Tyrone and Reggie.

Those two men had fought side by side with Jace for years and were infamous in Yorksland. They were known to be the fearsome right-hand men of Jace.

When they saw Colin charging toward them, they exchanged a sinister look with one another and moved forward in unison to take him on. They were prepared to savagely beat him to a pulp. Bang'. Bang!

Before they could register what was happening, Colin's fists were already in their faces. All they felt was a heavy thump on their head before their vision blurred. They then fell to the floor, unconscious. What?

Jace's eyes widened in surprise as he watched the two collapse onto the floor. It was unbelievable that his top men could be knocked out by Nathan's sidekick with a single blow.

Tye was left dumbfounded, and the members of Young Knives got to their feet and stared at Colin with a mix of anger and surprise.

After Colin displayed his prowess and brought down Jace's sworn brothers, he did not push on to challenge the rest. Instead, he retreated to his previous position and stood respectfully behind Nathan.

"Remember, I am always open to suggestions, but make sure you do it with the right attitude! Whoever speaks with arrogance will be seen as being provocative. These two are good examples of the consequence of provoking me." Nathan gave Jace a half-smile and coolly gave him a piece of advice.
