Salute To The General -
Chapter 2397
Bryson's face went pale instantly. "Help me, Grandpa!" he shouted in a trembling voice.
"Get a grip on yourself and stop freaking out!" Raphael scolded him angrily.
Bryson lowered his head and kept quiet after that.
Raphael then turned toward Nathan and continued, "No one has ever displayed such insolence before my family, and you will not be an exception. Get him!"
Seconds later, several powerful fighters from the Norris family could be seen charging toward Nathan at lightning speed.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
Those men were fast, but Nathan was faster.
They were all sent flying before they could even grab hold of him, much to the surprise of everyone at the scene.
Such terrifying power... It's no surprise that Nathan is called the God of War of Eurasia!
"Don't get cocky just yet, you brat! I shall be your opponent today!" said Maximus.
Despite being in his fifties, Maximus looked nothing like his age with his thick eyebrows, huge body frame, and bulging muscles. In fact, he looked even more energetic and lively than most young men out there. Noticing that he was different from the others, Nathan asked, "Who are you?"
"I am Maximus Haddock, leader of the Cavemasters from the Norris family!" Maximus replied with a booming voice.
Nathan broke into a smile upon hearing that. "Oh? I have heard that the Norris family has a group of seventy-two elite fighters who train reclusively in caves every day, known as Cavemasters. I am curious about the true strength of the legendary fighters, so this would be the perfect opportunity for me. I'll take all of you on at once!"
All of us at once?
Rage filled Maximus' face as he felt humiliated by Nathan's words.
"You can talk big after you've beaten me!" he shouted coldly before disappearing from sight.
Before everyone knew what was going on, Maximus had appeared in front of Nathan. His movements were too fast for the average human's eye to keep up with, so all they saw was a blur.
In fact, most people would even mistakenly think he was teleporting from one place to another.
"Die!" Maximus yelled as he threw a punch at Nathan.
Instead of dodging or blocking, Nathan simply responded with Military Punch.
Boom!
The sound of their fists clashing was like thunder, and the shockwave was so powerful that the marble floor cracked beneath their feet, resulting in the formation of a crater with a thirty-foot radius. Maximus' eyes were filled with shock, but Nathan didn't stop there.
Instead, he continued unleashing a barrage of attacks on Maximus.
Boom'. Boom'. Boom'.
As the two of them fought fiercely head-on, Maximus found himself being at a disadvantage after receiving Nathan's blows.
Eventually, Nathan's punches broke through his defenses, leaving
Maximus wide open for a follow-up attack.
Having created an opening, Nathan took advantage of it and delivered a swift kick to his chest.
Bam!
Maximus was sent flying like a soccer ball and crashed hard into the ground. He tried propping himself up with his arms, only to cough up blood halfway through before collapsing again. "Maximus! Are you okay?" the other members of the Cavemasters exclaimed as they came running over immediately.
They were furious when they saw that Maximus' face had turned pale from the severe injuries he sustained.
"Damn you, Nathan! How dare you hurt Maximus!"
"We must kill him to avenge Maximus!"
""Yes! Send him to hell!"
The Cavemasters all shouted angrily as they surrounded Nathan.
"You guys claim to train behind closed doors so you can protect the country when it is in danger, right? Well, I guess it's time to see if you guys live up to your legends! Bring it on, all of you!" "Let's kill him!" the Cavemasters shouted.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
One after another, they charged toward Nathan, who simply stood there without even flinching.
Bam!
Nathan stepped forward and rammed his shoulder into one of them, sending the guy flying while coughing up blood.
With his left hand, he grabbed an incoming fist and planted the second guy into the ground with a right punch to the face.
Whoosh!
One of the attackers attempted to kick Nathan from behind, but Nathan sensed it coming simply by hearing the sound it made in the air. Within a second, he responded with a kick of his own.
Crack!
A loud noise was heard as Nathan's kick effortlessly snapped the other guy's leg in half.
"Ahh!" the man screamed from the agonizing pain as he fell to the floor, much to the dismay of Raphael and the others as they watched on.
Like a tiger among a flock of sheep, Nathan was zipping through the crowd at lightning-fast speed while delivering blows that hit like trucks.
By combining the use of punches, kicks, and elbows, Nathan took all of his opponents down with simple yet brutal blows.
All seventy-two Cavemasters were unable to defeat Nathan even though they ganged up on him.
That was probably the best proof of his title as the God of War.
