The entire area was covered by a thick layer of dust, so no one could tell if it was Nathan or Raphael that emerged victoriously.

As the dust slowly settled, the two of them could be seen standing completely still about ten feet apart from each other.

Nathan's expression was as calm as ever, but Raphael had a respectful look on his face this time.

It took a strong fighter to gain the respect of another, and Nathan had most certainly gained Raphael's respect after that exchange.

"You're the strongest fighter I've encountered throughout the past two years. It looks like the Norris family does deserve its title as one of the five Reclusive Families, after all! You do have some talented individuals worthy of respect," Nathan said calmly. His arm had gone numb from the clash earlier, but Raphael's internal organs were mostly injured as a result.

It took every ounce of willpower Raphael had just to keep himself from coughing up blood.

He had assumed Nathan would behave even more insolently after defeating him in combat, but his strength had surprised Nathan so much that it earned his respect instead.

The conflicting emotions were so overwhelming that Raphael ended up succumbing to his injuries and coughed up a huge mouthful of blood.

Ash and the others went pale upon seeing that.

"Mr. Norris!" they shouted anxiously while rushing forward to hold him steady, but Raphael motioned for them to stay back instead.

Feeling much better after coughing up some blood, Raphael looked up at Nathan and said weakly, "You're very strong, Nathan. I've lost this fight completely. However, I will not tolerate such acts of insolence, even from you. We won't just sit by and watch as you take Bryson away to be punished."

Nathan frowned. "Do you wish to go again? Or would you prefer to sacrifice more of your disciples needlessly? Your grandson has done something wrong, so he needs to be punished for it! Even God himself won't be able to save him from his fate! Honestly, I thought someone your age would have no issues understanding such a simple concept!"

"I don't know if God can save him, but you must get permission from our elder before you can take him with you!" Raphael then turned toward Ash as he continued, "Go get Master Claudius!"

Ash's eyes went wide with shock upon hearing that.

Claudius Norris, the elder of the Norris family, is already a hundred and sixty-five years old! Legend has it that he dominated the world a hundred years ago!

Despite his old age, I hear he is still in decent physical condition! He has been left alone for sixty years now. Is Mr. Norris really going to summon him to protect the family?

It took Ash quite a while before he was able to regain his composure.

"Yes, sir! I'll get Master Claudius right away!" he said before motioning at the disciples nearby.

"Summon Master Claudius!"

"Summon Master Claudius!" "Summon Master Claudius!" The disciples of the Norris family passed down the instructions, and a group of higher-ranked family members followed behind Ash as he made his way toward the back of the mountain. They were all eager to have the Norris family's elder teach Nathan a lesson for his insolence.

Moments later, the family members came running back while yelling, "Master Claudius has arrived! Master Claudius has arrived! Master Claudius has arrived!"

Soon, an old man could be seen approaching from the distance. He was dressed in an old-fashioned robe which highlighted his tall and slender figure, and he had a graceful posture when he walked.

The disciples all knelt down as he passed them by.

This elegant-looking old man was none other than the elder of the Norris family, Claudius Norris.
