Salute To The General -
Chapter 2404
Soon, Matilda led Nathan, Kylie, and Colin into a cozy private room with refined decorations.
After taking their orders, she headed toward the kitchen and arranged for the chef to prepare their dishes right away. After a while, Kylie told Nathan that she needed to use the washroom. The latter nodded. "Just go ahead."
After stepping out of the private room, Kylie headed for the washroom to wash her hands and touch up her makeup. On the way back to the private room, she passed by Golden Jolly Hall.
Right that instant, a drunken, bulky man was unleashing his wrath on a supervisor. "What the f*ck! Didn't I request you to arrange for a few beauties to entertain us? How could you arrange for such ordinarylooking women to be here? Don't you know that we are here to entertain General Quillen? D*mn it! How dare you get such plain-looking women to entertain him? You must replace them with other gorgeous women now! Do you get it?"
On pins and needles, the supervisor explained bitterly, "Mr. Caffery, I hope you understand that we never had such a service, entertaining our customers during meals. Anyway, we've tried our best to get these few young ladies from the nightclub nearby to fulfill your requirement. Now that you're dissatisfied and request a replacement, I've no idea where we can replace other gorgeous women for you!"
Matias fumed, "What the f*ck! How's it possible that you can't get us gorgeous women when we offer to pay such a large sum? Do you think that we'll eat our words, huh?"
The supervisor tried to appease him, "Mr. Caffery, please don't get me wrong. I'm telling the truth. We had to make a deal with the nightclub nearby before they agreed to let these young ladies come over to entertain you. If you're dissatisfied with them, I can't replace other ladies to replace them in such a short span of time!"
Blowing his gasket, Matias was about to lash out at him again. Nevertheless, his eyes lit up when he caught sight of Kylie passing by.
He stretched out his arm and stood in her way. Narrowing his eyes, he snapped at the supervisor, "Pfft! How dare you bluff me! Isn't this a gorgeous young woman?"
Dumbstruck, the supervisor stammered, "M-Mr. Caffery, you've misunderstood! She's our customer!"
Slap'.
In a blink of an eye, Matias slapped the supervisor's face and snarled, "D*mn it! How could you have the cheek to fool me! Since we've booked the entire restaurant for the night, how's it possible that there're other customers tonight? I don't give a d*mn who she is! No matter what, I want her to entertain Mr. Quillen when he's here later! If you dare to go against my will, I'm going to demolish this place tonight!" What? He's ordering me to entertain a man? Kylie's dainty face turned crimson with fury at Matias' insolence. Coincidentally, a server passed by with a few glasses of red wine on a tray.
A quick-witted Kyle picked up a glass of red wine and splashed it onto Matias' face. "B*stard! I'm not an escort, okay? How dare you order me to entertain your Mr. Quillen?"
Within seconds, Matias looked disheveled with red wine all over his face.
He stiffened momentarily before bellowing in exasperation, "B*tch! How dare you do that to me! You're asking for it!"
The next moment, he raised his arm and was about to slap Kylie's face.
At that moment, Matilda, who was just out of the kitchen, rushed over to stand in front of her. "Mr. Caffery, please stop!" she pleaded hurriedly.
"Get lost!" Matias slapped her face hard, causing her to slump onto the ground with blood trickling down from the corner of her mouth.
Blinded by his fury, he raised his hand and was about to slap Kylie again.
But before he could strike her with his palm, a man's icy-cold voice sounded. "If you dare to slap her, you'll lose your arm!" Thunderstruck, Matias turned abruptly and saw a man with a slender figure advance toward him with a muscular subordinate. Evidently, Nathan turned out to be the one warning Matias seconds ago.
