That was when it happened. A nurse suddenly barged into the place while crying. Nathan and the others were stunned to see that.

Even Janice frowned. She rushed to the nurse and asked, "Macy, what's wrong?"

The nurse, whose name was Macy Kutcher, had no idea who Nathan and the others were.

She simply cried and complained to Janice. "The patients in VIP Room 8 are too evil, especially the one they call Matias. When I tried to replace his empty saline bag, he reached out for my breasts..."

Janice looked troubled. She whispered, "Those men served under the renowned General Quillen, and they are powerful figures. To make matters worse, the Quillen family was the one who sent them over..."

"I know. I understand that we can't afford to get on their bad side, so all I ask is that you allow me to stay away from them. Dr. Geller, can I be excused from helping the patients in VIP Room 8?" Janice hadn't even finished speaking before the alarm asking for the nurse blared.

Soon, another nurse rushed in. Her voice was trembling a little when she reported the matter. "Dr. Geller, the patients in VIP Room 8 lost their temper. They are complaining and claiming that the nurses aren't skilled enough to treat them. They say that our services are not up to standard and are demanding that you treat them personally."

Janice was surprised and infuriated.

The truth was that Matias and the others had been making a mess ever since they got hospitalized. They spent almost all their time harassing the nurses.

Even a doctor as prominent as Janice had been the victim of endless catcalling. Matias also tried to touch Janice in the past.

It got to the point where she was trying to avoid those patients as well.

Nevertheless, she didn't expect Matias and his friends to be that horrible, though. They made it so that all the nurses were terrified of them, and no one dared to go near them.

There was only one reason Matias would ask for Janice by name.

She knew she would have to endure a lot of catcalling and harassment again. The problem was that Matias and the others were simply too powerful, and Janice couldn't afford to get on their bad side. Hence, she had no choice but to say, "Okay, I'll go check things out." When Nathan heard Matias' name and learned how the Quillen family had sent the men over, he knew that the VIPs who had been harassing the doctors and nurses were the same thugs he beat up earlier.

Gosh, I can't believe those men misbehave even though they have been sent to the hospital.

Nathan called out. "Wait."

Janice paused. She and the two nurses turned to Nathan before she asked, "What can I do for you, Mr. Cross?"

Nathan nonchalantly replied, "You are military doctors and nurses, and I have no doubts you are all experts in treating the wounded and rescuing someone from the brink of death. However, dealing with perverts is not within your field of expertise, so you shouldn't go there. Just let me go deal with them." Janice bulged her eyes. "I-Is that really okay, Mr. Cross?"

Hansel grinned and replied, "Nathan's right, Doc. Let him deal with those uncouth hooligans. All of you are basically angels without wings because you are the ones standing between our men and Grim Reaper. Your job is to rescue and treat the military personnel, so it is especially infuriating that those hooligans aren't thankful to you. Worse still, they are bullying you. Let Nathan go teach them a lesson for you."

Nathan didn't bother waiting for Janice to respond. He walked right out of the examination room and headed straight for the VIP section.

Janice worried that things would spiral out of control, so she followed along hurriedly.

The nurses, on the other hand, followed along because they wanted to see Nathan fighting injustice on their behalf.

Inside VIP Room 8.

Four beds were placed inside that spacious room. There was also a TV, a refrigerator, a simple kitchen, and dozens of other amenities. At that moment, the place looked more like a luxurious hotel room. Matias, Fredrick, Trevor, and Landen were either sitting or leaning inside. They were chatting away happily.

Despite all the amazing facilities, Matias was still upset and was pressing the button nonstop to get the nurses' attention. He even insulted endlessly. "What the f*ck? That nurse ran away while crying, so why hasn't that hot doctor, Janice, arrived? Oy, get that hot doctor here to treat me."
