That evening, Nathan went to the Windsor residence as usual for dinner.

He didn't have a choice. It was lonely to eat alone as his family was not in Brimmopolis.

Furthermore, Hansel and his wife kept inviting Nathan to have meals with them. Therefore, Nathan would have dinner with them whenever he was not too busy. After dinner, Nathan stayed to chat with Hansel.

Suddenly, there was a new visitor. It was Cheryl, daughter of the Minister of Health.

It turned out that Cheryl used to learn calligraphy from Camilla, and she came here to see her.

Hansel and Camilla were happy to see Cheryl as they loved having visitors to their home.

Meanwhile, Nathan was stunned to see Cheryl.

On the other hand, Cheryl was happy to replace him here.

Soon, Nathan excused himself to leave with Colin.

However, he had just stepped out of Windsor residence when he heard someone walking in high heel shoes behind him. It turned out that Cheryl had rushed after him.

"Nathan, wait!" she shouted.

Nathan paused his step. He turned to Cheryl with a smile and said, "What's wrong? Is something the matter?"

Cheryl replied unhappily, "Why did you leave upon seeing me? Are you trying to avoid me?"

Nathan responded with a smile, "That's not true."

Cheryl said, "It had better not be true. After all, aren't we friends?"

In actuality, Cheryl had a crush on Nathan while they were students. She had confessed her feelings to Nathan, but he rejected her.

After that, they did not meet for many years. However, Cheryl still seemed to harbor feelings for him.

That was why Nathan kept trying to maintain a distance between them.

Now, hearing Cheryl, it seemed she truly wanted to be friends even though he rejected her love confession.

Therefore, Nathan calmed down slightly and smiled. "Your father is Mr. Windsor's long-time subordinate, and I am Mr. Windsor's apprentice. Furthermore, I get along with your father and am his friend. Naturally, I am your friend too." Cheryl nodded. "That's good to hear. Since we are friends, please let me buy you dinner to celebrate our friendship."

Nathan was exasperated. "I already had dinner with Mr. Windsor!"

Cheryl replied, "Can't you just keep me company?"

She cornered him with her words.

Therefore, Nathan had no choice but to agree.

Soon, Nathan and Collin went into Cheryl's car and headed to the nearby del Restaurant.

It was one of the most high-end restaurants in Brimmopolis.

This place was different from Indigo Palace.

Although Indigo Palace was famous, anyone with money could make reservations and have a meal there.

On the other hand, del Restaurant only admitted people from elite social circles.

Therefore, money alone was not enough. One also needed enough prestige to dine here.

Cheryl was one of the most prominent ladies in Brimmopolis. She drove only the best sports cars, so it was not surprising that she chose to dine at the best restaurants.

It could not be helped as Cheryl had a sense of entitlement from growing up like royalty.

Nathan was tall and dignified. His eyes shone like stars, and he exuded a powerful aura.

Meanwhile, Cheryl was beautiful and elegant. She had the air of a wealthy young lady.

Even Colin was tall and sturdy and had a dignified appearance.

Therefore, they attracted a lot of attention upon stepping into the restaurant.

The owner of this restaurant was a man named Favian Wortham. He was a pompous and chubby man. Although he appeared genial, his eyes were beady and gleamed with the craftiness of a shrewd businessman. He did not know Nathan, but he instantly recognized Cheryl.

Therefore, he went to them and asked with a smile, "Ms. Stewart, it's been a while. Are you here for dinner with your boyfriend?"

Nathan could not help but feel a little awkward.

Cheryl blushed slightly and said indignantly, "Cut the nonsense. I need you to prepare your best private dining room for me. I want Rose Room."

Favian answered immediately, "Someone booked Rose Room. May I offer you Tulip Room instead?"

"Furthermore, Rose Room is a little too big since there are only the three of you. You would be sitting furtherer apart, and it would be harder to converse comfortably."

Cheryl appeared displeased. "I am treating my friend to dinner, so I want the best room there is..."

Nathan said, "Cheryl, it doesn't matter where we dine. Since someone has booked Rose Room, we should go to Tulip Room as he suggested."

Naturally, Cheryl agreed with what Nathan said. Therefore, she turned to Favian and instructed, "My friend has chosen Tulip Room, so I'll take that room then."

Then, they came to the Tulip Room and took their seats.

Cheryl ordered a few gourmet dishes, including

premium oysters.

Cheryl ordered Favian, "The quality of your oysters is acceptable, but most of your chefs are not skilled enough to prepare them. They can't bring out the full flavors of the oysters. Therefore, I want your Michelin-starred chef, Agatha Lavigne, to prepare the oysters before me." Agatha was Ciel Restaurant's head chef and a five-star Michelin chef.

She was also renowned for her dazzling cooking demonstrations.

Guests found her cooking demonstration exciting and enjoyed eating the food she prepared straightaway.

Therefore, many esteemed guests who dined in the restaurant wanted to request Agatha to cook a couple of dishes before them. Thus, her cooking demonstration was in high demand.

Favian smiled from ear to ear and replied, "Yes, Ms. Stewart."

After taking their orders, Favian instructed the servers to serve Nathan and the others attentively before leaving the room.

However, half an hour later, they had finished the appetizers and a bottle of wine, but the main dishes never arrived. Furthermore, Agatha did not come to their room.

Cheryl was displeased and ordered a waiter to ask Favian what had happened.

Soon, Favian entered the room nervously.

He explained, "Ms. Stewart, I apologize for the blunder. The guests in Rose Room suddenly requested Agatha to prepare food for them. Therefore, Agatha had gone to Rose Room. I'm afraid she won't be able to come here to prepare your dish." Cheryl shouted furiously, "That is preposterous! I understand that you gave the Rose Room to someone else because they booked first. However, I ordered the food first and requested Agatha before they did. How dare you arrange for Agatha to go to them instead. Favian, are you out of your mind?"
