Salute To The General
Chapter 2506

Suddenly, their vehicle stopped abruptly amidst chaotic noises coming from the outside.

Nathan and Lucas instantly knew that something was amiss.

Nathan asked in a deep voice, "What's going on outside?"

Colin yelled over the noise, "Chief Cross, the prisoner, Isaiah, has suddenly gone on a rampage. He plans to commit a suicide attack by blowing up the vehicle that is carrying five tons of dynamite."

Upon hearing the report, Nathan and Lucas alighted from their command vehicle together.

However, the chaos had already come to an end and order had been restored amongst the Eurasian soldiers.

Meanwhile, Isaiah lay in a pool of blood, with barely a breath left in him.

Standing beside him were Fang, Destroyer, and Heptakill.

It turned out that Isaiah took advantage of the soldiers letting down their guard to go berserk. After grabbing a sub-machine gun from one of the soldiers, he wanted to 6re at that dynamite-laden transport and blow it up. Luckily, Fang and his companions managed to subdue him in time.

Furrowing his brows, Nathan stared at the dying Isaiah and sneered, "You truly refuse to give up, don't you? Despite having an arm lopped off, you continue to resist fiercely. Have you lost your will to live?"

Isaiah retorted through his gritted teeth, "After breaking my arm, you have destroyed me by turning me into a cripple. Hence, I intend to take you down with me by blowing up that transport. Unfortunately, I was just a step too late in firing my gun."

Nathan sniggered, "Haha, your imagination has gotten the better of you. Actually, the truck isn't carrying any dynamite at all. Instead, there's nothing but sand in the back. Did you actually think I would bring such a huge bomb to the battle? What do you think I am, crazy?" What? The five ton bomb was a ruse?

At that moment, Isaiah was shocked and infuriated to learn that he had been fooled by Nathan.

He thundered, "You tricked us?"

Nathan smiled slightly. "I'm glad you realized that. I will spare your life this time, hoping that you will reflect upon your actions when you return."

Isaiah scowled, "Even if you show me mercy, I will still seek revenge upon you. Just you wait, I'll definitely rebuild and come at you again. When the time comes, not only will I conquer the West, but also massacre your entire family. Furthermore, I will capture your women and enslave them within my army. That is the price you'll pay for breaking my arm and destroying my future."

His response outraged all of Nathan's subordinates.

At that moment, Nathan gradually took off his Leviathan mask to reveal his frosty expression.

Upon seeing the true face of Eurasia's Chief Military Governor, Isaiah exclaimed, "What? It's you? The God of War, Nathan Cross?"

Nathan replied coldly, "That's right. It's me. To be honest, President Stryker gave me a look when we were leaving, hoping that I would kill you for him. Initially, I had no intention of doing so, but you just had to get on my nerves by threatening the lives of my family." Isaiah's expression darkened in response. Just a while ago, he lost his cool and rattled off without considering his words. Now that he could sense the murderous intent Nathan was emitting, he began to regret having such a loose tongue.

Just when he tried to salvage the situation, Nathan turned around and instructed Colin, "Kill him and return his body to Volk."

Given that Isaiah had crossed Nathan's threshold, a heavy price would be extracted from the former.

Colin acknowledged solemnly, "Yes, Chief Cross!"

At Colin's signal, two of the Elite Eight came forward and dragged Isaiah away.

Once Nathan and Lucas returned to their command vehicle, a gunshot rang out in the air.

Soon, Colin was heard reporting, "Chief Cross, the enemy, Isaiah Swift, has been executed."
