Salute To The General
Chapter 2538

As soon as Dante put on the high-tech combat suit, Nathan noticed his opponent appearing before him in the virtual world.

Meanwhile, Gammon and the others all stared at the large screen in the arena, where they could see both Nathan and Dante in the cyber world.

Soon, Dante's virtual self leaped off the ground and did a stylish backflip in midair before landing with an equally fancy pose.

Impressed by the stunt, the Remdikians immediately cheered even louder for Dante.

Even Gammon could not help but smile at the display of skill.

"Dante may not be the smartest guy, but even I have to admit that he's quite a gifted fighter. That man is probably born to reign supreme on battlefields," remarked Sofie in a soft voice.

"Your Royal Highness, who do you think is going to win this fight? General Dante or the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia?" asked a waiting maid curiously.

For some reason, Sofie secretly hoped that the handsome Chief Military Governor would win the duel.

However, the princess glanced at the two fighters on the screen before replying, "There's no denying that Chief Cross is exceptionally talented in tactics and strategies, but nobody is perfect. He can't have both brains and brawn. Since Chief Cross excelled in the wargame, he has to be somewhat weaker in combat. That should be reason enough for me to bet that General Dante's going to win."

"We share a similar thought, Your Royal Highness. I, too, think that Chief Cross is the brains and not the brawn, so it's very unlikely that he'll emerge the victor. As you said, nobody is perfect."

While Sofie and her female servant were still discussing, Nathan and Dante had already begun fighting in the virtual battleground.

With a loud war cry, Dante charged toward Nathan like a frenzied bear and took a swing at Nathan's face, clearly displaying the ferocity of a Remdikian.

Even in the cyber world, Nathan could sense Dante's lightning speed and explosive power.

Meanwhile, the Remdikian spectators dropped their jaws when the force of Dante's punch was displayed on screen in numbers.

"My goodness! Dante outdid himself once again!"

"The power of his punch has reached one thousand pounds! That's incredible!"

"Dante was known to have killed a bear with his bare hands. Can the Chief Military Governor of Eurasia really withstand his assault without getting knocked out?" Like a rocket, Dante's fist zoomed toward Nathan while the crowd was still gasping in awe.

However, just when Dante's knuckles were about to reach Nathan, his enemy moved just enough to evade the incoming attack before responding with a counter.

The spectators widened their eyes even further at the screen after Nathan approached Dante and launched his right fist.

Nathan's punching power was measured at two thousand pounds, making it even deadlier than that of a professional boxer.

Despite that, Nathan did not seem like he went all out with that punch.

If he wanted, he could have easily gone above two thousand pounds.

Gammon, Sofie, and all the other Remdikians at the scene were utterly dumbfounded when they witnessed such horrifying strength.

After realizing that his attack had missed the target, Dante watched as Nathan's fist got closer and closer to his face.

Even though every fiber of his being urged him to move his head, Dante knew there was no way he could evade the assault in time. Bam'.

A solid fist slammed violently into Dante's face, and he felt as though his head had been cracked open like a watermelon.

The sheer force immediately sent the man flying backward like a rag doll.

Immediately after that, the virtual duel was concluded with a sentence in a blood-red font displayed on the screen: The challenger's skull was cracked open and justified as dead. Battle ended.
