Salute To The General
Chapter 2747

There were at least five hundred werewolves at the scene.

All of them were part of the elite werewolf warriors of Shadow Fang.

Eighteen out of the five hundred werewolves looked bigger and stronger than the rest. These were the infamous Eighteen Warriors of Shadow Fang.

The Eighteen Warriors looked like the devil themselves. They emitted a murderous aura as they stood in a row and stared at their prey coldly. It was as if the latter were lambs about to be slaughtered. "It's time to hunt!"

The voice of an elderly person rang out.

The Eighteen Warriors stepped aside and made way for their elder.

Then, a hunched-back elderly walked out of the pack with a cane carved with an ancient totem script in his hand.

Every werewolf treated him with respect. He was none other than Nuguri, a shaman of Shadow Fang. The Shamans were usually well respected in the tribe. Nuguri was just one level below Moab.

This time, he had personally led the Eighteen Warriors and five hundred elite werewolf warriors of Shadow Fang to assassinate Nathan. It showed how big of a threat the Shadow Fang viewed Nathan to be.

Not too far away, Morse, who was watching on in bewilderment, couldn't help but exclaim in a low voice, "Who is this guy? It looks like the werewolves hold him in high regard."

Catherine was very knowledgeable as

the Duchess.

She narrowed her eyes and stared at Nuguri. "I think he's a shaman. Rumors have it that his walking cane possesses great power. He must be ranked highly within the pack," Catherine said when she saw his weird outfit and his walking cane. A shaman!

Morse stared at the frail, hunched-back, old man in shock. I've always thought shamans were just a bunch of religious zealots. Who would have thought that they'd be so important?

Just as they were gossiping in the car,

Nuguri felt their presence.

"Why, what do we have here?

Cowards hiding in the car?" His eyes glinted coldly as he spoke.

Those words were meant for Catherine and the rest hiding in the Cadillac SUV.

However, his words did not sit right with Nathan.

Crack!

Nathan opened the car door and alighted from the car.

Just as he was doing so, Ava appeared before him with a black umbrella in her hand.

She stood beside him respectfully and held the umbrella up for him.

Nathan was dressed in traditional garb. He had a tall, muscular figure and carried an air of authority.

The werewolves could feel his imposing aura as soon as he stepped out of the car.

The weaker werewolves of the pack suddenly had irregular heartbeats and became breathless. Nuguri frowned. What a terrifying

aura!

Since werewolves were men by day and wolves by night, they had a sharp sense of danger.

They instinctively felt pressured the moment Nathan appeared.

Nathan had emerged victorious from all the battlefields he had taken part in.

An ordinary person wouldn't be able to detect his murderous and deadly aura. However, the werewolves could feel it from their end.

Nuguri thought him leading the

Eighteen Warriors and five hundred elite werewolf warriors to assassinate a human elite would be overkill.

However, it wasn't until then that he realized things weren't as simple as he had imagined.

Things were about to get real ugly.

Nathan checked out his surroundings. The werewolves tensed up as if they were being targeted by the ancient beast, Leviathan, whenever his gaze landed on them.

The weaker of the pack staggered backward in fright when they met eyes with Nathan.

One could say that Nathan had the upper hand before the war even started.

Even Morse, who was hiding in his Cadillac SUV, couldn't help but exclaim when the scene unfolded before his eyes, "Nathan is something else. I think the werewolves are terrified of him!" Catherine scoffed, "You've finally realized you've offended a truly terrifying person, huh?"

Morse was at a loss for words upon hearing that.
