Salute To The General -
Chapter 2751
Even though Nathan had saved Catherine and Morse effortlessly, he knew it wasn't the end. Without breaking his stride, he steadily made his way toward Nuguri. Having witnessed Nathan's incredible feat of strength, Nuguri grew solemn. He hardly broke a sweat to defeat our elite werewolf warriors. He's no ordinary man!
"Listen up, Eighteen Warriors of the Shadow Fang! Our target is more powerful than expected, so this will undoubtedly be a life-or-death fight! We only have two options: either band together and kill him or die at his hands." The Eighteen Warriors took a step forward in unison, a murderous aura swirling around them. "Yes! Kill him!"
"Bring it on!" Nathan replied as he calmly waved them over.
The next second, one of the burlier werewolves bent his knees slightly and blasted off with a loud rumble, catapulting himself toward Nathan like a powerful cannonball.
That pounce, as it turned out, was a werewolf s most common attack.
However, instead of dodging it, Nathan stood his ground.
The werewolf warrior was lightning fast, and all Nathan saw was a blur before the former appeared in front of him.
Without further ado, the werewolf placed both hands on Nathan's shoulders and bared his fangs, readying himself to bite down hard on the latter's neck.
In retaliation, Nathan blocked the werewolf s chin with his left hand and threw a punch with his right.
Bang!
The seemingly ordinary punch landed squarely on the werewolf warrior's chest. But for a while, nothing happened.
Huh? What was that? Why did that punch feel so weak?
Unfortunately, before the werewolf warrior could ponder any further, a hole suddenly blasted in his back, spewing out blood and pulverized internal organs.
He gaped at Nathan, his face a mask of shock and confusion.
Then, as his head tilted to a side, he collapsed in a heap.
That, without a doubt, was an instant kill!
Nathan had taken out a werewolf warrior in just one move!
Having witnessed such a terrifying display of power, even the most fearsome of werewolves felt chills running down their spines.
Nuguri, too, took a sharp intake of breath.
His expression became even graver once he realized the battle was a matter of life and death.
The next second, he picked up his walking cane and slammed it down.
Boom'.
With the cane embedded into the ground, spider cracks began forming around it.
Nuguri looked up piously at the bright moon that had appeared after the rain and started his chant.
"Under the full moon lies your people. Under the red moon lies your soul. Oh, mighty Wolf God, your people are calling out for you! Please bestow upon us your indomitable spirit and strength!" As Nuguri's voice reverberated through the area, the surroundings began to change.
The scenery became a blur, and even the distant sounds gradually disappeared.
That said, what was even more appalling was when the bright full moon slowly changed color along with Nuguri's incantation.
In the end, the white moon had turned a shade of blood red that cast an eerie crimson glow on the surrounding area.
Nearby at a dumpster, a stray cat was getting ready to pounce on a rat.
However, when the red moonlight shone on them, the once timid rat suddenly glowed red in its eyes and charged at the cat in a frenzy.
Caught off guard by the sudden attack, the cat howled as it got bitten on the neck by the rat and started fighting back fiercely. Before long, both animals had blood dripping all over them.
The remaining seventeen werewolf warriors and over three hundred werewolf elites also had their eyes turn a scary bright red after being exposed to the red moonlight.
With them gnashing their teeth and growling loudly, it was clear to see they had all become insanely violent.
