Salute To The General
Chapter 2791

Watching from the side, Didier and his crew were filled with disbelief.

Initially, despair filled their hearts when they saw the black-clad men storm their ship. They thought they were done for when they saw the "pirates" swarming the vessel.

Little did they expect Nathan to single-handedly slaughter the huge group of "pirates" and throw them into disarray.

In fact, he even made it look effortless.

After defeating hundreds of men, Nathan finally arrived in front of Jurgis.

As for the rest of Jurgis' men, they cowered in fear when faced with Nathan's terrifying power. Standing by the side, none of them even dared to approach.

In fact, those who were less brave even jumped off the ship to flee in their small boats.

Jurgis' face lost all color as he watched Nathan approach like a demon straight out of hell.

With his entire head covered in sweat, he stammered, "Y-Y-You, don't do anything rash! I'm one of the princes of the Eagleland royal family. Are you able to bear the consequences if anything untoward happens to me?" Slap!

The slap Nathan gave Jurgis was so powerful that the latter's head was thrown to the side, blood and broken teeth flying out of his mouth. In fact, Jurgis' body was almost sent flying from the impact.

Given that Jurgis was a prince, he would always be escorted by foreign leaders in a glamorous manner whenever he left the country and had never suffered such humiliation before. Therefore, he was utterly stunned by Nathan's strike, which almost took his life.

Nathan sneered, "What's the big deal about being a prince? When I was the Commander-In-Chief of the North Army, I slaughtered plenty of tribe chieftains and kings, let alone a lowly prince like you. Now that you have fallen into my hands after failing to ambush me, how dare you accuse me of sparking a conflict between our two nations? When you first planned to attack me, why didn't the same concern for war cross your mind?" Jurgis held his bleeding mouth and was about to reply when Nathan pressed a hand down on his shoulder and barked, "Kneel!"

Jurgis felt as if the hand on his shoulder was a massive boulder weighing down on him. Buckling from the pressure, both his knees dropped heavily onto the deck.

The resulting impact ripped Jurgis' pants and shattered his kneecaps, covering the ground with a mix of blood and flesh.

Clenching his teeth, Jurgis was brought to tears by the excruciating pain.

At that moment, Colin came over to report, "President Cross, news of the attack on you has reached our country. At this moment, the army and Cabinet are holding an emergency meeting."

"Mr. Lucas has personally called Queen Annie to insist that her side don't play with fire. Furthermore, he reiterated the need for them to guarantee your safety. At the same time, Admiral Hill, on behalf of the army, also issued them a stern warning. He stated that Eurasia's Rocket Force has entered battlereadiness. If anything untoward were to happen to you, Eagleland would suffer a devastating attack."

President?

Meanwhile, Didier and his crew- already awestruck by Nathan's strength-grew curious about Nathan's identity and were guessing what his background was.

It wasn't until they heard Colin's words that it dawned upon them that the young man before them was actually Eurasia's new President.

President Cross is really young!

Didier and his men stared at Nathan, their eyes filled with astonishment.

The kneeling Jurgis was equally astounded by Colin's report to Nathan. It had finally occurred to him how rash and dangerous his actions were.

The Rocket Force was the strategic team that possessed nuclear-strike capabilities.

From Colin's report, Jurgis learned that Eurasia's Rocket Force had entered battle readiness after hearing that Nathan was in danger.

If anything were to happen to Nathan that would infuriate Eurasia's Cabinet and army, Eagleland would suffer an unprecedented attack that would destroy the entire nation.

Just thinking about the consequences alone turned Jurgis' face pale and filled his eyes with horror.

Glancing at Jurgis, Nathan sneered, "Do you now realize how stupid your actions were?"

Just when Jurgis was about to say something, one of the Elite Eight ran up to Nathan and reported anxiously, "President Cross, there's some movement on the seas. It seems that a large flotilla of wooden boats are attempting to surround us as we speak." Nathan's expression darkened at the news as he asked Jurgis coldly, "Have you brought reinforcements?"

Realizing the folly of his actions and the fact that he had almost caused the destruction of his country, Jurgis had long since regretted his attack.

Therefore, when he heard Nathan's question, he waved his hands frantically and denied, "No, no, Mr. Cross. I don't have any reinforcements. Whoever they are, I have nothing to do with them."

Nathan furrowed his brows at the words.

As he walked to the bow of the ship with Colin and his men, Nathan could see many wooden boats sailing toward them underneath the cold beams of the moonlight.

The boats weren't big, and each one could only fit about ten people.

Furthermore, the boats had strange designs on them and looked to have been crafted by some form of tribe.

In fact, there were carvings of an unknown alphabet on the sides of the boats while their sails had a bizarre totem sign emblazoned across them.

The wooden boats were not equipped with any lights. Instead, their crews were all holding torches to illuminate their way.

With his sharp eyes, Nathan could clearly see their gruff features under the crackling flames of their torches.

They were none other than werewolves!
