Salute To The General
Chapter 2793

The moment Nathan finished allocating everyone to their positions, the wooden boats finished surrounding the ship on both sides. On one of the boats, an elderly werewolf with a small frame looked up at the massive cruise ship with a walking cane in his hand.

He curled his lips into a slight smile before disappearing into thin air. The next second, he reappeared tens of meters higher in mid-air before disappearing again in a flash.

The next time he materialized, he was already standing steadily on the ship's deck, right in front of Nathan and the others.

He was none other than Moab, leader of Shadow Fang and one of the famous elders of the werewolves.

His ability to board the ship in the blink of an eye was enough to give the countless elites on the ship a rude awakening.

Even Colin and the remaining four of the Elite Eight furrowed their brows in apprehension.

Only Nathan managed to remain calm with nary an expression on his face.

After Moab successfully came on deck, four other burly figures shot into the sky from their boats, just like cannonballs. They subsequently landed heavily on the deck, just behind Moab. The four of them were none other than the Four Generals of Shadow Fang.

They were the mace-wielding Thundra, battle-axe-brandishing Boca, boxing-gloves-equipped Alastar, and Shamo, who battled with a scimitar.

The Four Generals of Shadow Fang were at least as powerful as their Shaman, Nuguri.

Therefore, Moab had shown Nathan the utmost respect by deploying all of Shadow Fang's strongest warriors.

Staring at the elderly werewolf, Nathan frowned and remarked in a deep voice, "It's you werewolves again. I gave you a chance previously, but you still dare to come back." Squinting his eyes at Nathan, Moab could sense the terrifying power pulsating through Nathan's body.

He replied slowly, "You killed my tribe's Shaman and many of my fellow tribesmen. Logically speaking, there's no way I can forgive you."

Nathan responded in an indifferent tone, "If the werewolves hadn't interfered in the conflicts of men and caused me trouble first, would your tribesmen have died by my hands? As the saying goes, you simply reap what you sow. Now that you have the gall to come kill me, you should also be prepared to be slaughtered in return. Previously, I showed you mercy by allowing you to escape. Unfortunately, your lack of appreciation has now infuriated me."

Moab answered, "Hehe, the werewolves have a saying. If arguments could solve problems, why were we bestowed with fangs and claws? Nathan, I'm here today to take your head and not debate about who's in the right. Thus, are you ready to die?"

Nathan was standing with his hands behind his back. As the moonlight fell upon his body at an angle, it covered his handsome face in a play of light and shadows. Exuding an extraordinary charm, he looked confident and visibly mysterious.

He replied with a smile, "There are plenty of men in this world that want me dead. In fact, I've been at the top of the assassination list on the dark web for many years. Moreover, the bounty on my head is twenty times the reward of the person in second place. In spite of that, I'm still alive and well. Therefore, when pathetic dogs like you want to kill me, you don't even realize how unworthy you are."

Pathetic dogs?

Nathan's words instantly outraged Moab and his werewolves.

Werewolves hated being labeled as dogs. Now, not only did Nathan call them such, but he also described them as pathetic.

The Four Generals and the werewolf pack weren't the only ones who were furious. Even the usually composed Moab was deeply offended.

As a vicious glint flashed in his eyes, his voice sounded like a demon straight from the depths of hell. "Nathan, for humiliating us werewolves, only your life and blood can quell the anger within us. Prepare to suffer our wrath!"

Moab had barely finished when he gestured with his hand, signaling the werewolves to officially commence their attack.

Upon receiving the signal, Thundra, the leader of the Four Generals, brought out a war horn made from a cattle horn and blew into it.

As the horn of the vanguard echoed through the air, the swarms of werewolf warriors waiting on the wooden boats sprang into action. Compared to Jurgis' men, who had to scale the ship with grappling hooks earlier, the werewolves needed no such equipment. Just like crawling insects, they climbed the sides of the ship with exceptional agility.
