Salute To The General
Chapter 3002

With his faith shattered, Kraven fell into utter despair when he discovered that his master turned out to be the Allfather of Heavenly City.

A wry smile spread across his face as he said, "If I knew you were someone like this, I would rather be a vagabond all my life than become your slave. You are right. I owe everything that I have now to you. You made me the man that I am today. But you were also the one who destroyed me. I no longer want to be your servant or a top combatant anymore. I'll pay back everything that you have given me."

"Pay me back? How do you plan on doing that? I might consider letting you live if you agree to stay by my side and continue to be my servant," Lothar said coldly.

Kraven shook his head. "You don't need to spare my life. I, Kraven Macalister, am only willing to be a hero's follower. Not a traitor's lackey."

With that, he raised his left hand and grabbed his right arm. Then, he exerted a sudden force.

Crack!

Kraven tore off his right arm abruptly, and blood gushed out from his arm instantly.

The crowd that witnessed the scene was shocked.

The elites at the scene were all ruthless, so it was common for them to snap another person's head off.

However, this was the first time they saw someone being so cruel to himself. As such, they couldn't help but be astounded.

Enduring the pain, Kraven tossed his right arm in front of Lothar. He yelled, "You made me who I am today, so I'm paying you back with this arm of mine. Is that enough?"

Lothar stood still and remained silent.

Seeing that, Kraven cut off his right foot with his left arm.

Crack!

With that, the calf of his right leg was severed forcefully.

Kraven fell to the ground with a thud. He burst into tears as he spoke. "I gave you my foot too. Is it enough to pay you back?"

However, Lothar remained indifferent and did not say a word.

With no choice, Kraven raised his left arm and poked both of his eyes all of a sudden.

Pfft!

His eyes were blurred with blood as he was instantly rendered blind.

Lothar rolled on the ground in pain. Then, he said miserably, "I don't want to see you again. I'm giving these eyes to you. You were like a father to me. Now, I'm giving you half of my body. I've paid you back. You will no longer be my master." "Must you do this?" At last, Lothar spoke.

Kraven was left without his right arm, right calf, and eyesight. Covered in blood, he looked like an incapacitated person.

As he lay lifelessly on the ground, like a heartbroken and wounded child, Kraven wanted nothing more than to go home.

At that moment, all he could see was darkness, and he could only think of Nathan and Kerry.

These two people had given him warmth and love of a family.

Right now, the only thing on Kraven's mind was to return to his country so that he could reunite with his two friends again and pour out all his grievances to them.

With only his left hand, he groped around the ground for a while, roughly identifying the direction. Then, he headed eastward and crawled forward with difficulty. Dead silence ensued.

The crowd kept their heads lowered in silence.

There was only the sound of Kraven dragging half his body and struggling to crawl forward.

"Nathan, Kerry, wait for me—"

By then, Kraven had lost a lot of blood, and his consciousness was fading away. He muttered to himself subconsciously and called out the names of Nathan and Kerry, the two people he cared about. However, Lothar's face darkened when he heard Nathan's name.

Nathan Cross! An extraordinarily talented person.

Back then, Lothar saw for himself the exceptional talent Nathan possessed and took him in as his apprentice on a whim.

But soon, he discovered that Nathan had an unswerving mind. Lothar knew he couldn't manipulate Nathan as he desired since the latter had his own principles and values that he abided by.

Because of that, Lothar didn't teach Nathan everything he knew.

However, He never expected Nathan to be such a genius who had the ability to learn on his own without any guidance.

In fact, Nathan did not learn much from Lothar. After he joined the military, he combined his techniques with the martial arts he learned from there. After going through countless life-or-death situations on the battlefield, Nathan developed a unique and powerful ability. After that, he became the God of War before being elected as the President and Chief Military Governor of Eurasia, becoming the most threatening enemy of Ariarica.

Lothar had never thought that he would create such a terrifying existence back then, creating an unprecedentedly powerful enemy for himself.

When Lothar heard Kraven saying Nathan's name, his eyes turned cold.

"I told you I'll kill you if you stop being my servant. Do you think I'll let you go if you do this?"

With that, Lothar raised his palm in the air and aimed a strike.

Thud!

A deafening sound thundered in the air.

Suddenly, a gigantic pit appeared on the ground, where Kraven lay motionless.

Lothar scanned his subordinates coldly. "Make him a human specimen. Then, put it at the gate of Heavenly City to warn the intruders that this is the consequence they'll face." "Understood," the crowd answered immediately.

Lothar said with a murderous look, "No one is allowed to mention today's matter to the outside world. Otherwise, you will be the next ones to be made into human specimens." "Yes, sir," the terrified crowd answered in unison.

With that, Lothar promptly left.

The Light and Dark Messengers quickly followed behind him.

As Lothar walked, he ordered the Light and Dark Messengers in a low voice. "Except for the Four Angels, kill all the guards who were present just now."

The Light and Dark Messengers were taken aback by Lothar's order. However, they didn't dare to hesitate and replied in a low voice, "Yes, Allfather."
