Salute To The General
Chapter 3024

"Be careful!"

""Mr. Cross!"

Colin and Kerry exclaimed unanimously at the sight of Lothar deploying the horrifying Gold and Silver Twin Strike.

Even Sevan, who was being supported by Colin and Kerry, was worried that Nathan wouldn't stand a chance against Lothar's attack. Nathan moved into position and a loud boom resonated across the area.

Both of his feet were planted firmly into solid ground.

He raised both of his hands in an attempt to block Lothar's third attack.

Lothar's Gold and Silver Twin Strike struck Nathan's chest at almost the same time.

The right side of Nathan's chest suffered a blow from Lothar's left palm.

Countless ice shards instantly materialized on his chest and the right side of his body felt frozen and stiff.

Lothar's right palm landed on his left chest.

Nathan's clothes were instantly burnt to smithereens, scorching him till blisters formed across his skin.

Twin deadly forces of ice and fire emitted from Lothar's palms into Nathan's body, wreaking havoc on his insides.

Nathan grunted in agony and backtracked several steps, coughing out a mouthful of blood.

He felt instant relief from the discomfort in his chest after that.

Colin witnessed Nathan's plight and was fueled with righteous anger.

As the leader of the National Guard who fought alongside Nathan, he had not seen Nathan get hurt for such a long time, let alone suffer such severe injuries.

At that point, tears were already streaming down his face.

Nathan exhaled and slowly lifted his head to stare at Lothar. "I won't show mercy now that you've exhausted your three moves. We no longer owe each other anything at this point. No more holding back now!"

Lothar was mildly surprised. "I'm genuinely in awe that you managed to survive all three of my blows. Nevertheless, it's undeniable that you're badly injured. I wonder what's the difference between you sustaining three or even ten blows from me. Either way, you're going to die in my hands."

Everyone kept their eyes trained on Nathan, who indeed looked to be in dire straits.

His clothes were in tatters as his muscles had undergone a bulging transformation previously. Besides, one half of his skin was littered with scorch marks while the other was frostbitten from Lothar's Gold and Silver Twin Strike. Not to mentioned the blood stains on his lips.

It was but a matter of time before he was dead meat.

However, Nathan's injuries did nothing to stifle the fighting spirit within him as his eyes swirled with intent.

The emotions he'd suppressed were hanging to the last threads of his sanity.

His master's betrayal, the death of Kraven, and all the other indignation he had suffered piled up and pushed him beyond his tipping point.

The ground below Nathan gave way with a thunderous reverberation.

He then propelled toward Lothar like an arrow that was released from its bow.

Swinging his fist at Lothar, he executed one of the most common army combat techniques.

Lothar did not foresee such a sudden burst of power from the mangled Nathan and hastily parried the latter's attack.

Though the older man was a seasoned combatant, he still acutely felt a terrific force flood over him when Nathan's fist collided with his.

He was grossly unprepared for the sheer magnitude of Nathan's offense and staggered backward as he struggled to regain balance. His right arm was numb from the impact of Nathan's fist, and he looked to be in a wretched state. Nathan growled, "This attack is for Mr. Macalister."

With that, he continued to assault Lothar with a barrage of attacks.

Shocked and furious, Lothar came to the realization that he had underestimated Nathan.

Not daring to take this duel lightly anymore, he rearranged his facial expression into a serious one while taking on Nathan.

Each time their attacks clashed brought forth ear-splitting booms that made the earth tremor.

Every single one of the onlookers were entranced.

Is this what a battle between the world's most elite fighters looks like?
