Salute To The General
Chapter 3101

The following day, Nathan and Colin met up with Hepburn and the others.

They kept a low profile and secretly took a flight to Malarnor.

Meanwhile, at Golden Sand Hotel at the famous Malarnor River at Malarnor, police cars and vehicles belonging to secret agents were patrolling the streets around the hotel. Numerous burly security guards dressed in black stood at the hotel entrance, taking charge of the safety of that place.

At that moment, members of various media and reporters from all over the world gathered outside the hotel.

Holding their cameras and recording devices, the reporters appeared to be waiting impatiently for something to happen.

"They're here!" someone exclaimed cheerfully among the crowd all of a sudden.

A few mounted policemen led the way as over ten black sedans gradually arrived at Golden Sand Hotel under the escort of a large convoy of army vehicles.

The representatives from the Eight-Nation Alliance had arrived.

Eiken Azuma represented Jetroina; Tyrell Rogers for Xyperia, and Catherine stood in for Eagleland.

Carsten represented Hallsbay, while Hendrik was Ferropene's representative.

Lochlan and Dubravko represented Frosa and Xenhall, respectively.

All of them got out of their vehicle one after the other.

The last person to exit the car was Max, Ariarica's representative. Accompanying Max was Malarnor's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luka Fuentes.

When Max got out of the vehicle, he instinctively furrowed his brows in an unconcealed disgust as the afternoon sun shone on him.

Vampires feared sunshine.

Naturally, a King-Class vampire like Max could overcome that weakness and face direct sunlight.

Still, he felt uncomfortable when his whole body was exposed to the sun.

Sensing Max's displeasure, the workers at the scene immediately instructed a few bodyguards to come forward, each holding up a black umbrella to shield Max and the other Eight-Nation representatives from the sun. Luka smiled politely and said, "Admiral Max, everyone, this way, please."

The reporters around them clicked on their camera shutters furiously.

Max and the others strode toward the hotel, where the Eight-Nation Alliance summit would take place.

The reporters crowded forward but were quickly halted by the bodyguards.

Unwilling to give up, the reporters stretched out the microphones in their hands and proceeded to ask questions.

"Honorable Admiral Max, what is the topic of discussion for the Eight-Nation Alliance summit this time?"

"Admiral Max, do you have anything to say?"

"Admiral Max, do you mind saying a few words?"

Max informed the crowd indifferently that he couldn't divulge any information. Then, he and the other representatives entered the hotel under Luka's escort.

The reporters were stopped at the entrance by the security guards and soldiers.

Soon, Max and the rest of the party arrived at the meeting venue.

Luka flashed a faint smile. "Everyone, the meeting venue has been decorated. Please let me know if you need anything else. I'm ready to serve at any time. Today is the Eight-Nation Alliance summit. Since Malarnor is not a member of the Eight-Nation Alliance, I shall take my leave."

With that, he left the meeting hall.

Max and the others took their seats according to their statuses.

Then, Max began hosting the meeting.

As usual, he described their predicament of being threatened by the rise of the Dragon of the East. After that, he narrowed his eyes and said, "So, does everyone have any plan to counter the awakening of the Dragon of the East and Nathan, who is becoming more formidable every day?"

Everyone expressed their opinions, but all of their ideas were too conservative.

After listening for some time, Max tapped on the table impatiently and uttered coldly, "That's enough."

Dumbfounded, the others turned to look at Max.

Eagleland's representative, Catherine, couldn't help but ask, "Admiral Max, is there anything wrong with our suggestions? You don't seem very satisfied with what we said."

Max replied frostily, "Your strategies are too conventional. The execution will waste a lot of time and effort. Most importantly, the ideas are not sufficiently impactful. They cannot entirely defeat the Dragon of the East."

Tyrell, Xyperia's representative, knitted his brows as he asked, "What do you suggest, then, Admiral Max?"

Max narrowed his eyes. "I don't think we have to complicate this matter. We should handle this problem using a simple and brutal method. We'll crush this Dragon of the East once and for all by using force." Everyone present widened their eyes.

"Are you serious, Admiral Max?" Tyrell uttered with a trembling voice.

Max snorted icily. "Do you think I'm joking?" After saying that, he raised his voice and went on, "Tyrell, aren't you engaged in a year-long fight with the North Army of Eurasia? Didn't the North Army, led by Nathan, trounce your troops in the mountains? Don't you wish to win once? Are the Elephants of Xyperia unwilling to win against the Dragon of Eurasia?"

Tyrell subconsciously answered, "Of course we do."

Max nodded and announced, "My plan is for Xyperia to initiate a battle with the North Army, and at the same time, Jetroina will wage war with the South Army of Eurasia. This way, Eurasia will be caught up in a tough two-front war. Then, the remaining six countries here will deploy our soldiers to assist Xyperia and Jetroina. We'll strike down the Dragon of the East in one swift move."
