Salute To The General
Chapter 3360 Meeting Thomas Again

As soon as Roderik finished his sentence, a moment of silence ensued. Hepburn was both shocked and angry. "What did you say?"

With a cold laugh, Roderik said, "Are you deaf? I'm saying that the commander-in-chief is nothing in front of me. I will not change my attitude, even if he is right in front of me! I'm telling you that Admiral Welz is the only person who can give me orders-Greetings, Commander Cross!"

As Roderik was loudly ranting, he suddenly noticed a person walking toward them from the side. The next moment, he realized that it was Nathan. Startled, he immediately straightened his posture and trembled as he saluted. Nathan looked at Roderik and piped up in a calm tone, "Don't be so nervous. There's no need to be afraid. After all, in your eyes, I am nothing at all."

When Roderik heard those words, his face instantly turned pale with fright.

After all, Nathan was the God of War and the commander-in-chief of the alliance.

He had annihilated numerous vampire kings, including Herod, who was regarded as the strongest being on Earth.

Roderick never thought Nathan would hear all the derogatory remarks he had made about him.

If Nathan were to kill him, it would be a walk in the park for him.

The moment he heard Nathan's mocking tone, he was overwhelmed with fear and almost wanted to kneel to beg for mercy. He felt the urge to cry, and he even trembled as he desperately wanted to explain himself.

Nevertheless, Nathan didn't let him explain. He asked coldly, "Why were there gunshots and cries coming from the detention camp just now? What did you mean by saying that you needed to go back and deal with those lowly brutes?"

In an instant, Roderik realized that Nathan didn't consider him worthy of further attention. Instead, Nathan showed genuine concern for the situation of the vampires in the detention camp.

Roderik quickly answered, "Those bondslaves are cunning, vicious, and very disobedient. They will not behave themselves unless we execute a few of them and give them a piece of our mind."

Hearing that, Nathan said coldly, "The captives in other detention camps seem to be very cooperative. Only the captives in your camp are causing trouble. Or perhaps it is you who is mistreating them." Roderik panicked and quickly responded, "No! No such thing."

"How many bondslaves are there in your detention camp?" Nathan inquired coldly.

Roderik honestly replied, "More than thirty thousand!"

Nathan nodded. "Good. This camp is now under our control. The logistics personnel and medical staff of the detention camp can stay. You, along with your soldiers, get out of here."

Roderik was utterly shocked. "It will be difficult for me to explain this to my superiors..."

"Do you want me to personally inform Wolfric about this?" Nathan asked coldly.

Roderik shuddered in fear when he saw Nathan's icy gaze and quickly stated that there was no need.

With no other choice, Roderik went back to gather his soldiers and left the camp in a dejected manner, heading to seek refuge at another Ariarican base.

Meanwhile, Nathan turned to Colin

and instructed, "Have Wallera send a team over to take over this camp. the bondslaves here are willing, arrange for them to be resettled in Walfera to rebuild their homes once they have been healed."

"Understood!" replied Colin.

Nathan and Hepburn, along with thousands of Curia warriors, took temporary control of Hive.

Three hours later, several helicopters descended from the sky and landed on the helipad of Hive.

A burly, one-armed man was the first to jump down from the helicopter, closely followed by over thirty agile Aploth men.

Colin, accompanied by a few Elite Eights, came out. Upon seeing the one-armed man, he couldn't help but exclaim in surprise and delight, "Thomas, what are you doing here?"

Thomas was also ecstatic to see Colin. He quickly saluted and said, "Mr. Cross has helped Dido reclaim its kingdom and has sent a large amount of resources and personnel to assist Dido. I came right away after hearing about it. I was occupied over in Wallera when unexpectedly got an order. They claimed that Mr. Cross asked for the dispatch of a team to take over a detention camp, so I offered to serve as the team's leader. The rest of my troops are still on their way. The military vehicles were too slow, so I flew here in a helicopter with a few of my trusted subordinates to meet Mr. Cross."

Thomas used to be Nathan's soldier. However, he eventually joined West Army because of his gambling addiction and mounting debt. During

his service under Lucas, he lost an arm in battle and was forced to

retire.

Not long ago, he learned that Nathan had helped Dido reclaim its kingdom and also dedicated significant manpower and resources to Dido. Because of that, he volunteered to lead the team that would take over Hive.
