Salute To The General -
Chapter 3367 Seeking Justice
Rawlinson fumed. "You audacious fellow, how dare you hit my car, kill my men, and even crush the legs of my right-hand man? I will seek retribution from you! An eye for an eye." The moment his words were out in the air, the subordinates behind him moved to draw their guns in unison.
However, Thomas' subordinates reacted even faster.
With a swoosh, countless sub-machine guns, along with the machine guns mounted on the tops of the armored SUVs, were all aimed at Rawlinson and his companions.
In fact, the tank next to Thomas slowly swiveled its cannon, aiming it so close to Rawlinson's face.
Thomas said coldly, "An eye for an eye. Do you even have the right to say that? I'm still waiting for the opportunity to settle the score with you for the soldiers stationed at the city gate you've crippled!" Rawlinson erroneously thought that Wallera would not dare to lay a finger on him because he had Wolfric and Ariarica's support.
Thus, he didn't bring many subordinates with him.
Who would have thought that Wallera's Minister of Defense, Thomas Dunn, would be so arrogant? His actions were completely unreasonable as if he was a reckless brute-pushing him into an incredibly tense position.
At that moment, Rawlinson wished he could shoot Thomas dead.
However, the power dynamics have dramatically shifted. If he were to dare to act recklessly, he and his followers would likely be swiftly obliterated in one decisive strike.
Left without any choice, he turned around and ordered his subordinates, "Everyone, put your guns away!"
Upon hearing this, his subordinates put away their weapons.
He finally turned around, glaring at Nathan. "I am a special envoy sent by Admiral Welz to meet Queen Dido. I am here to reason, not to engage in a fight against you. In the event that you choose to resort to force, Ariarica will be more than willing to confront you, but today is not the day."
Thomas sneered. "Ha! Reason didn't matter when you recklessly drove around the streets and hit my men with your car. But now, you expect me to reason with you? I have no respect for spineless cowards like you."
Rawlinson was livid, his face ashen. Grinding his teeth, he said, "I demand to see your Queen Dido. I want to lodge a complaint against you. Don't get cocky, kid. Queen Dido has accepted Admiral Welz's terms. All of your ragtag troops will be disbanded in due course, and our forces will be stationed here. Your end is nigh."
Thomas gave a cold laugh but remained silent.
Despite the circumstances, Rawlinson was a special envoy dispatched by Wolfric. It would be reasonable to give him the opportunity to meet Dido.
So, Thomas did not stop him and
issued a cold order, saying, "Arrange for someone to seize these
weapons in our presence. Then, escort them to the palace to meet
the queen and await her dec
"Yes, sir!"
Rawlinson was shaking with anger, cursing under his breath, "Barbarians! You're barbarians! Once I come face-to-face with your queen, your ill fortune shall commence!"
To Rawlinson's knowledge, a mere Wallera would definitely not be able to stand against Ariarica. Dido would surely not dare to refuse the terms offered by Wolfric.
The dissolution of Thomas's armed forces in Wallera was an inevitable outcome.
Dido was having a conversation with Nathan in the palace.
Suddenly, a guard came in to report, "Your Majesty, General Dunn has forcibly detained Rawlinson and his party. He is bringing them to see you now."
Dido looked at Nathan. "Mr. Cross, Rawlinson is a special envoy sent by Wolfric. Would you like to meet him?"
Nathan smiled and said, "I'll just sit here and listen to what he has to say."
As Nathan spoke, he took a seat in

an inconspicuous spot not far from the queen's throne. This was the usual spot for the court stenographer, whose job was record all conversations the queen had with important foreign guests.
Within the palace, numerous guards, clerks, and other staff were present, making Nathan's presence inconspicuous. Unless one observed closely, his existence would easily go unnoticed.
At that moment, a voice from outside announced, "General Dunn and the special envoy have arrived!"
Shortly thereafter, Thomas, Rawlinson, and their entourage were spotted entering the premises.
In fact, two Wallerian soldiers were also carefully carrying Blake on a stretcher. His legs had been tragically broken.
Rawlinson was insistent on bringing his adjutant to meet Dido, unwavering in his determination to seek justice directly from her.
