Salute To The General
Chapter 3393 Misunderstanding

Upon hearing that Nathan planned to take Sevan out of the research base, Francis expressed his anxiety. "Mr. Cross, you mustn't. If he leaves and can't control himself, it could lead to serious consequences..." Nathan said, "I'll take responsibility for all the consequences."

Francis was at a loss for words, not knowing what else to say.

Nathan, Colin, and Sevan left the research base. It was already evening.

The three of them got in the car.

Colin turned to Nathan. "Where do you want to go?"

Nathan looked at Sevan and asked, "What would you like to eat?"

Sevan gave a bitter smile. "I have no appetite. If it's all the same to you, let's replace a place to have a couple of drinks."

Nathan nodded, "Okay!"

After saying that, he instructed Colin to replace a bar so they could have a couple of drinks.

The research base was located in the suburbs, with no bars around.

When the three of them returned to the city, it was already dusk. The city lights were just beginning to come to life, marking the start of the city's nightlife.

The three of them casually walked into an unassuming wave-themed bar.

The bar was dimly lit. Music was playing.

There weren't many people around.

Nathan and his companions found a booth in the hall and ordered two bottles of alcohol.

The tall, skinny server gave Sevan an odd look as he served the drinks.

Clearly, the skinny Sevan had caught his attention.

At that moment, Nathan saw what was happening but didn't think much of it. He simply assumed that the waiter was just curious about why Sevan was so thin. Nathan and his two companions raised their glasses together.

Right after they had a few drinks, a sleazy man with a small mustache suddenly slipped into their booth.

The mustached man made himself at home, sitting directly on the couch. He placed his briefcase on the coffee table with a grin and chuckled. "You all seem a bit unfamiliar. Is this your first time here?" Nathan frowned.

Colin wore a serious expression. "This is our first time here for fun. Do you have a problem?"

Realization dawned upon the mustached man. "No wonder. Would you like something to boost your energy?"

Nathan and Colin exchanged glances. Narrowing his eyes, Colin asked, "What's this intriguing thing?"

"This one!" The mustached man spoke, pulling out a small packet of white powder from his briefcase. Then, he placed it in front of Nathan and the others. Nathan's face darkened.

Colin angrily said, "How dare you sell such things in broad daylight. I think you're tired of living."

Upon hearing that, the mustached

man was taken aback. He quickly stowed the small package away, looking uncertain. "Aren't you one of us? Look at your buddy. How can he

not be a junkie while dike

that?" ,

Nathan suddenly realized something. Someone saw Sevan's skinny figure hanging around the bar and mistook him for a junkie. This mustached man is here to peddle his goods. Colin was furious and immediately wanted to arrest the mustached man.

Nathan, however, stopped Colin with

a look. There's no need to deal with such small fry personally. A simple phone call to the local drug

u

enforcement team will be enough to wipe out all the drug peddlers here.

When Colin saw that Nathan wouldn't let him take action, he held back his anger on the spot.

The mustached man realized he might have made a mistake and left in disappointment. However, before leaving, he didn't forget to warn Nathan and the others not to meddle in affairs that weren't their concern.

He glared at Nathan and said, "I'm

Rat, and this is my territory. I've killed a few people before, so you'd best mind your own business and keep your mouths shut. If you don't, you have to face the

consequences."

After saying that, he stepped out of the private room.

When he warned Sevan, he also cursed, "Get out of the way. I can't believe a normal person could become as skinny as you, causing me to mistake you for a junkie." Sevan's temper flared up instantly, and a glint of murderous intent flashed in his eyes. He felt a strong urge to wring Rat's neck and suck the latter's blood in big gulps. The moment that thought arose in his heart, his eyes turned blood red.

He was on the verge of putting his ideas into action.

At that moment, Nathan noticed something was off and shook his head at Sevan.

Upon Nathan's signal, Sevan forcefully suppresses his desire to kill. The murderous intent in his eyes gradually faded.

The mustached man had no idea he had just dodged a bullet, grumbling as he walked away.
