Salute To The General
Chapter 3401 You Savages

Inside the office of the research base, Francis was engrossed in his work. Suddenly, without any warning, the office door was opened.

Francis, annoyed by the interruption, looked up with anger and coldly said, "Didn't I tell you that nothing is more important than my work when I'm working? You'd better not disturb me. Get out and knock before entering!" To his surprise, he saw several unfamiliar faces entering. All of them were foreigners dressed in combat uniforms.

Havik calmly walked in with his hands behind his back, smiling mischievously. "I'm sorry, but I don't have the habit of knocking, and I must disturb you."

Francis stood up, his tone cold. "Who are you?"

He picked up the office telephone and sternly said into it, "Security! Security! Come to my office immediately."

Havik leisurely pulled out a chair and sat down, smiling. "There's no need to call. When we entered, we already took care of all those guards. Now there's no one who can help you. It's in your best interest to cooperate with me." Upon hearing this, Francis' expression turned from shock to anger, but as a seasoned individual, he remained calm and didn't panic at all.

He looked deeply at Havik and slowly sat back down in his chair. Then, he stared at Havik and said, "You have a lot of audacity to cause trouble here. Do you know who the real owner of this research institute is? I guarantee that if you continue to cause trouble, things certainly won't end well for you. You're on the edge of a cliff, and it's not too late to turn back."

As soon as he finished speaking, Havik applauded sarcastically. He laughed and said, "Haha, Professor Ladell, you remain calm and composed even in times of crisis. You even try to intimidate us by mentioning Nathan Cross. I admire your courage."

Francis replied coldly, "If you know that Mr. Cross is the real owner of this laboratory, then you should know how powerful he is. If you're causing trouble here, you won't be able to leave Eurasia."

Havik smirked and said, "I don't believe that!"

"If I were to duel Nathan, I might have a forty percent chance of winning, but if I decide not to engage and want to leave, even Nathan can't stop me. Besides, Nathan is not here right now. Professor Ladell, I advise you to cooperate with me. It's for your own good and to avoid paying the price with your life."

Francis' expression changed slightly, but he remained composed. He calmly said, "State your intentions."

Havik smiled and said, "I'm very interested in your recent project. What are you currently researching? Also, do you have an experimental subject named Sevan here? Bring him here, as I have some questions for him."

Upon hearing this, Francis was shocked and angry. "I'm sorry, our research content is covered by a non-disclosure agreement. No one is allowed to disclose it. I won't tell you anything about our research, and I can't fulfill any of your other requests."

Havik didn't seem bothered by the

response. He chuckled. "So you

think I'm easy to negotiate with, huh? It seems you won't realize your folly until it is too late. Very well, let

us

Jed some blood here to wake

you up so that you'll realize how dire

your situation is." Content, belongs to Narugi

With that, he snapped his fingers.

Immediately, one of his seven swordsmen, Wind Swordsman, dragged in a man wearing a white lab coat from outside. It was David, Francis' student and a member of the research team.

Upon witnessing his own student being brought in, Francis was both furious and shocked. He demanded, "What is the meaning of this?"

Havik chuckled, "There's no special meaning. If you don't cooperate, this man's life will be over."

Francis angrily responded, "I won't succumb to your threats. I won't let you succeed." Havik smiled. "Is that so?"

After speaking, he signaled to Wind Swordsman. Understanding the gesture, Wind Swordsman swiftly drew his sword and instantly slit David's throat. David didn't even have time to plead or scream before his throat was slashed open He clutched his neck in agony, falling to the ground and struggling for a while before finally succumbing to death.

Francis' eyes turned red with anger. "You savages!"
