Salute To The General -
Chapter 3429 It Was Meant For Baccio
Colin got out of the car, walked over, and casually pointed at one of the soldiers. "You, come here."
"Yes, General Dunne!"
Colin took the soldier to Nathan.
Upon seeing that, Oliwier quickly followed them in a trot.
"What's going on in front? What are you guys doing?" Nathan calmly asked the soldier right before Baccio.
The soldier was about to answer when Oliwier quickly parted his lips and said, "Greetings, Commander. Let me answer your question. It's actually a little misunderstanding=" "Shut up!" Colin angrily stopped Oliwier before the latter could finish his words. "Did Mr. Cross ask you about it? Which department are you from? Where are your manners?" Oliwier was frightened and froze in his spot.
Once again, Nathan asked the soldier indifferently, "Tell me. What's going on?"
The soldier honestly answered, "I'm a soldier under General Fang and know nothing much. I only know that a few foreign villains murdered a couple in a rented house and killed and injured some traffic police with their car after that. They are utterly ruthless. General Fang received the news and came over to arrest the villains."
"So that's what happened!" Nathan nodded.
Then, he waved his hand dismissively. "Protecting the lives and property of the public is you all's duty. Go assist Fang in dealing with the villains, but please also take care of your own safety."
The soldier felt encouraged. "Thank you for your concern, Commander."
With that, he hurriedly returned to the group.
Meanwhile, the expressions on Oliwier, Baccio, and the others at the side had subtly changed. Nathan seemed to be asking questions, but he was actually concluding the situation before them.
His words were implying to Baccio that Eddie and the gang were undoubtedly utterly ruthless villains.
He also unequivocally supported Fang and his team in dealing with the villains to safeguard the lives and property of the public. His stance was unquestionable, and no one could waver it.
At the same time, he was also hinting at Baccio that the latter's men must pay the price for committing, and there was no way Baccio could protect them.
Baccio's expression darkened.
Even Oliwier understood why he was scolded by Colin earlier.
The reason was simple. He was not in alignment with Nathan, nor did he stand on the side of the victims. He attempted to downplay major and trivialize minor issues, which contradicted Nathan's stance

Oliwier's heart sank in despair. He was afraid that he would face severe punishment after that day.
Nathan plainly concluded the situation at hand, making it clear that Eddie and the gang were the villains and that they were utterly ruthless.
He did not even mention having the soldier arrest the villains just now. Instead, he used the phrase "deal with."
That meant Nathan supported executing Eddie and the gang on the spot.
With Nathan stepping in, even Baccio found it hard to step forward and plead for mercy, let alone speak up to save Eddie and the gang.
After Nathan clearly identified Eddie and the gang as the villains, he casually turned to Baccio and said, "Mr. Baccio, you don't look so well. What is it? Are those three murderers your men?" You're asking the obvious! A wave of dissatisfaction rose in Baccio's heart.
However, the Curia had always prided itself on justice.
How could he admit that the three murderers, Eddie and the gang, were his men? That would be equal to tarnishing his own reputation.
Thus, Baccio vehemently denied,
"N-No. I don't know them. They are not members of the Curia either. If you don't believe me, you may send someone to check the name list of the Curia's members. I assure you, you won't replace their names there."
Nathan nodded slightly. "I believe you. How could the Curia possibly have such br*tes and sc*ms? Let's not interfere with this matter and leave it to the Eurasian warriors at the scene to handle it. They can take care of a few thugs."
Baccio's face clouded over.
He could only watch Eddie and the gang and unable to rescue them.
