Salute To The General
Chapter 3454 Yield

Helios panicked a little and glared at Nathan. "If you have the guts, come at me. Even if you cut off my head, I will not yield to you." Nathan chuckled.

He didn't sever Helios' head. Instead, he raised the dagger and gently dragged it across his own finger.

The razor-sharp dagger effortlessly sliced Nathan's palm, leaving a cut. A trickle of fresh blood appeared on Nathan's hand.

Nathan secretly channeled his energy to make the blood flow faster.

However, the fresh blood that flowed out did not fall onto the ground. Instead, it gathered in his palm, forming a rather large droplet of blood.

Astonishingly, the drop of blood hopped wildly on Nathan's palm like a tiny spirit, as if it had a life of its own.

Moreover, on several occasions, that drop of fresh blood even attempted to burrow back into Nathan's body from the wound on his palm.

It seemed as if that drop of blood was reluctant to leave Nathan's body.

That scene left Colin and the others completely dumbfounded.

A perplexed expression also spread across the three Demigods' countenances.

Initially, Helios was also puzzled, not understanding why Nathan had cut his own hand.

Then, something dawned on him, and his expression changed drastically.

He reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, angrily yelling, "What do you think you're doing?"

Nathan looked at the overly agitated Helios with a smirk. "I don't intend to do much. I just want to infuse a drop of my ancestral blood into your body, transforming you into a vampire. That's all." What? Nathan wants to turn me into a vampire? Helios, initially on his last breath, was so angry that he wanted to jump up on the spot.

He said angrily, "Don't you dare! How dare you transform the great Demigod into something as filthy and brute as a vampire!"

In fact, Nathan originally planned to turn Helios into a vampire.

According to his understanding, within the vampiric clan, the higher-ranking members exert dominance over the lower-ranking ones through bloodline suppression. Vampires with inferior bloodlines were forced to submit to the will of superior ones and had little power to resist.

He planned to turn Helios into a

vampire, then use their shared bloodline to exert control on the latter using his powerful will to force

Helios to reveal everythin

Naturally, that was merely an attempt.

Whether it would work out in the end, he wasn't sure.

What surprised him was the Demigods seemed to look down on vampires, as if being turned into a vampire was an extreme insult that was a fate worse than death. That discovery made Nathan's eyes light up.

He chuckled lightly, "What do you think? I can hardly wait to see what you'll look like as a vampire. As the king of vampires, I should be able to use my powerful will to make you, new member of our clan, submit to me and accept my rule. I wonder, Will you still be able to acorn when the time comes?"

Helios was completely infuriated. "Kill me, just kill me. I'd rather die than become a lowly vampire."

Nathan couldn't help but become amused as he watched Helios, who was visibly upset and frustrated.

Nathan said nonchalantly, "You have two choices. Either become a vampire or honestly reveal your identities, origins, and the purpose of your visit to Earth." Helios was caught in a dilemma.

In fact, in Divine Realm, vampires were regarded as mere lowly animals by Demigods.

Humans, specifically those within the Curia were their nurtured servants, specifically trained to hunt down the vampires, and then offer the vampires' cores to the Demigods.

How could the high and mighty Demigods ever wish to be transformed into vampires, who they despised the most and considered the lowest of the low?

In the end, Helios gave in.

He gritted his teeth. "Fine. Ask whatever you want to know. Either way, my companions will come to rescue me soon. Knowing these things won't prolong your life." Nathan revealed a satisfied expression upon learning Helios had given in.

The lively drop of blood in his palm, now with his permission, immediately burrowed back into his wound, returning to his body.

The injury on his palm also healed at a rate visible to the naked eye.

He looked at Helios and said calmly, "So, tell me. Do you Demigods come from outerspace?"
