Salute To The General
Chapter 3456 Laying All Cards On The Table

"So, the Curia serves you guys, huh? What do you need these cores for?" Nathan asked in a deep voice.

"The vampire race is a marvelous one because of the immense power that it contains. The technology of our Divine Realm can stably extract the energy within, then transport it to the energy transformation station. After passing through those large stations, the energy is amplified a hundredfold. Finally, this energy is continuously supplied to all sorts of industries," Helios replied.

Upon hearing this, Nathan could hardly conceal his shock.

"I see. So, you are both civilized and savage at the same time."

Helios sneered. "Thanks for the compliment."

"One final question. You support the Curia, which serves you by hunting down vampires and providing you with cores, so why are you reaching out to the vampires again? You once asked me to cooperate with you and help the vampires develop. What's the meaning of this? Why are you supporting the Curia while also aiding the development of the vampires? Isn't that contradictory?" Nathan asked.

Helios laughed coldly, his smile growing even more intense: "Heh... We keep in touch with the vampire king because we're worried that the Curia might wipe out the entire vampire race. The Earth has recently undergone significant changes, and the vampire race has been nearly decimated by humans. We noticed that the vampires are showing signs of impending extinction. This is not the outcome we wanted. We need the Curia to continually provide us with the cores of the vampire race, but we can't let the vampire race go extinct either." A touch of anger welled up in Nathan's heart when he heard that.

"I get it now. You people from the Divine Realm have turned Earth into your own little farm, huh? You perceive the vampires as livestock and the Curia as nothing more than a shepherd. You continually harvest the cores from the vampires on Earth to sustain the energy needed for your Divine Realm's existence."

"Correct! Not only are you the current vampire king, but you're also a smart person. You earthlings are no match for Divine Realm in terms of your combat ability and your technology. You earthlings are simply signing your own death warrant if you provoke us and anger our God King. You should release the three of us right now and obediently follow the orders of our vampire race if you know what's good for you. This will result in a win-win situation for everyone!" Helios said gleefully.

"You aliens treat our Earth like a farm and view us earthlings as your slaves or livestock that are just waiting to be slaughtered. However, you're wrong. Earth will never become your farm, and we earthlings will never submit to you aliens either," Nathan said coldly. "Just you wait! Divine Realm's spaceships and warriors will descend upon your planet, and our God King will annihilate all of you!" Helios yelled furiously.

Nathan was just about to speak when.

Suddenly, Colin came over and whispered, "Mr. Cross, there's an urgent message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Curia has dispatched Chief Elder Baccio, who is accompanied by several important figures from the Curia. They have arrived in Eurasia without any prior notice. Baccio has requested to see you." "Tell him I don't have time to see him," Nathan calmly replied.

Colin lowered his voice and said,

"Baccio insists on seeing you. He even hinted that he knows your

secret. If you don't agree to see him, he will publicly declare you as

vampire in the name of the Curia."

Nathan's expression grew cold when he heard that.

"Moreover, he mentioned that honored guests of the Curia have run into some trouble here in Eurasia. He hopes that Eurasia will release the captives, and he wants to speak to you in person," Colin added.

Honored guest, huh?

As Nathan turned his head to look at the three Demigods, who were imprisoned not far away, he couldn't help but ask with a sneer, "The honored guests that the Curia is referring to... They wouldn't happen to be these three aliens over here, would they? It seems the Curia has been serving aliens for thousands of years. Have they fallen so far as to become the lackeys of aliens, even to the point of betraying Earth's interests and becoming enemies of their own people?"

"Since Baccio insists on seeing you, I think it would be best if you meet up with him and see what the Curia has to say," Colin replied.

"All right, then. I'll go see Baccio, so help me make the arrangements," Nathan said after a brief pause.

Colin nodded. "On it!"
