Salute To The General
Chapter 3525 A Private Conversation

When a master made a move, one would know if they were the real deal.

Both Nathan and Shadowbeard's expressions changed subtly after they only exchanged one move.

Nathan concluded that Shadowbeard's strength would only be greater than Cain's, never lesser.

The emergence of such a mysterious powerhouse from the vampire clan was probably not good news for humanity. Shadowbeard was similarly stunned at that moment.

Nathan's strength surpassed his imagination. If it came down to a fight to the death, he wasn't even sure he could defeat Nathan. However, instead of being afraid upon discovering Nathan's formidability, he grew excited, and a glint of joy flashed past his eyes.

To him, Nathan was the perfect fusion of human and vampire and was also considered a part of the vampire clan's new generation.

The appearance of an unparalleled elite like Nathan among the new generation of the vampire clan was undoubtedly a stroke of luck for them. Who knows, there might even come a day when the vampires could wage a war against the Gods with Nathan's help and even end up toppling the lofty God King.

With that in mind, Shadowbeard no longer wanted to continue the fight with Nathan.

He had no desire to fight with Nathan to the bitter end.

Nathan, on the other hand, was ready to continue the fight.

That was when Hepburn stepped over and got between the two. "Both of you, stop fighting."

Shadowbeard gracefully went along with her order, respectfully acknowledging it with a nod before stepping back into the line behind Hepburn.

Nathan looked coldly at Hepburn and the powerful vampires present. "You were the ones who went back on your word first and caused chaos in the human world again. Why don't you want to fight now?"

Hepburn said, "Mr. Cross, if you need an explanation, I will give you one, but not right now. Would you be willing to come in and sit down with me to listen to what I have to say?"

Upon hearing this, Colin immediately whispered into Nathan's ear, "Mr. Cross, Hepburn's status has changed. We can't use our past relationship to judge whether she poses a threat or not. Moreover, many mysterious and powerful vampire elites are by her side. I wouldn't recommend going in there to talk to them. If they have ulterior motives, you could replace yourself in a very dangerous situation."

Indeed. Hepburn has now become exceedingly formidable. Plus, she has elites like Shadowbeard as her subordinates. If these powerful

Nathan hesitated slightly as he looked at Hepburn.

no

She stood gracefully in place, her eyes filled with silent resentment as she looked at him. It seemed as if she had endless grievances, yet she couldn't voice them out.

Nathan was once again reminded of the farewell letter Hepburn had left him when she departed from Eurasia.

In the letter, Hepburn stated that she would return to the vampire clan and lead them to seek a new future. One of the reasons she did so was to provide Nathan with a way out.

When mankind uncovered Nathan's

secret one day and could no longer tolerate his presence, she and the rest of the vampire clan would welcome him back into their fold and hail him as their king.

At present, Nathan looked at Hepburn with a complex gaze, wondering if she really did so for his sake.

His heart inexplicable softened at that thought, and in the end, he still chose to trust Hepburn one more time.

He calmly said, "All right. I'll go in with you and listen to your explanation."

Soon, Nathan and his servants along with Hepburn and the other vampires arrived at Hepburn's temporary residence.

After arriving in the hall, Hepburn instructed Shadowbeard, Max, and other lords and princes in a calm tone, "All of you may leave. I would like to have a private conversation with Mr. Cross."

Shadowbeard and the other elites hesitated, refusing to do as told. They were worried that Nathan might kill Hepburn if things didn't go his way.

Hepburn was instantly angered when her subordinates didn't comply with her order.

"What? Am I, the vampire queen, merely a puppet in your eyes? My orders are no longer valid to you, huh?"

Sensing Hepburn's anger, Shadowbeard and the other vampires hurriedly apologized, then reluctantly left the hall.

Hepburn's gaze once again fell upon Colin, who was standing next to Nathan.

Nathan instructed Colin, "Colin, could you please step out for a moment? I'd like to have a private chat with her." "Yes, sir," Colin replied before stepping out as well.
