Salute To The General -
Chapter 410 Take It Back
Chapter 410 Take It Back
Jericho's words were no doubt a threat. The entire family's expression changed.
Until now, Leah had not received a warm welcome when she brought her family here.
They could tolerate Butch's and Sasha's indifference, but none of them could take Jericho's threat lying
down.
Penny and Nathan were livid, and even the amiable and down-to-earth Benson was ready to flare up
and argue with Jericho.
However, Leah grabbed her husband's hand with tears in her eyes.
She signaled to Benson that she did not want to cause trouble during her father's birthday and to let
matters rest.
Benson held it in, but he was shaking with anger.
Nathan could tell that Leah did not want to make a fuss during the celebrations. He did not want to put
Leah in a tight spot, so he simply glared at Jericho.
When Jericho saw that Nathan was glaring at him, he was displeased.
Damn it! How dare this street rat stare at me like that in Arlington? He must be tired of living!
Nathan turned away from Jericho and ignored him.
When he saw Benson shaking with rage, he took a packet of Marlboro cigarettes out and offered them
to Benson. "Dad, don't trouble yourself with such a clown. Here, have some cigarettes to cool off."
Clown? Jericho nearly burst out in rage upon hearing that.
His eyes narrowed and he spat unkindly, "Brat, I know you're Benson and Leah's son-in-law. I even
heard from the Tonkins that you're a pathetic excuse of a man who depends on his wife for a living.
Hey, scoundrel, I can understand why you want to suck up to your in-laws, but offending me was a
mistake. I have a hundred ways to dispose of trash like you, so you'd better watch out. Don't play with
your life."
Jericho's words made everyone turn pale except Nathan.
Jericho felt smug seeing that his words had shocked the others.
He added, "By the way, your cigarettes are just as trash as you are!"
As he said that, he raised a hand and slapped Nathan's face.
When Penny saw that, she knew that it was all over.
As expected, Jericho did not manage to hit Nathan.
Before his hand could land, Nathan had already snorted and grabbed Jericho's hand with his left hand.
Jericho's eyes widened in shock.
He struggled to retract his hand with all his might, but Nathan's pincer-like grip was especially strong.
He was unable to move at all, much less break free.
Nathan tightened his grip slightly, and Jericho's bones started to give off a slight cracking sound. His
bones were about to snap.
Jericho's face contorted in pain. He hissed, "You rascal, let go of me now!"
His subordinates were livid, but they did not dare to approach him lest he harmed Jericho.
Nathan's hand slowly started to apply more pressure in his grip, causing Jericho's wrist to make more
cracking sounds. It was about to snap at any time.
Nathan commented indifferently, "Your words made me very unhappy. I'll give you a chance to take it
back now. If I'm still unhappy by the end of it, then consider your hand disabled."
Jericho yelled, "If you dare to hurt me, you're as good as dead!"
Nathan said coldly, "Looks like you don't need this hand anymore."
Nathan applied a bit offeree and Jericho started to shriek in pain, "Stop! I'll take it back, I'll take it
back..."
Nathan asked sternly, "And?"
Jericho continued screaming, "I shouldn't have said that you were a pathetic excuse of a man!"
Nathan replied, "Continue."
Jericho was stunned. What else did I say?
Nathan reminded him, "What did you say about my cigarettes?"
Jericho finally understood. He suppressed the pain and screamed, "You have good taste in cigarettes!
Marlboro is the best brand in the world!” New chąpter avąilable oո Drамanоvels.coм
Nathan smiled and released Jericho. He looked at his wrist. It was swollen and his
bones were hurting. Although they were not broken, they were likely fractured.
He glared spitefully at Nathan.
Jericho then stormed off with his two men in tow.
